Daphne’s POV “Bianca is pregnant,” I say in a low tone, my gaze fixed on Miles. I didn’t expect this—not while he was married to me. My chest tightens as I swallow the lump in my throat. “You couldn’t even wait until our wedding was over?” My voice carries the weight of disappointment. Grandfather won’t be happy about this. Miles’ eyes widen, his expression shifting from shock to desperation. “No, Daphne, you’ve got it all wrong,” he says quickly. “Bianca isn’t pregnant.
