Leone was shocked to see the lifeless body of his father on the floor on a white mattress covered in white sheets. Her mother was wailing profusely with her head resting on Cassius' chest. The loud cries of his mother stabbed his heart and his brimmed with tears. Even the servants were hanging their heads low, crying silently.
Leone slowly went toward his mother and sat beside her.
"Mom!" Leone whispered as he rested his hand on her shoulder.
