Griffin and Vivian entered the house together, their footsteps echoing lightly in the hallway as they approached the cozy living room where Leone and his mother were seated.
With a warm smile, they greeted Elizabeth and even Leone. However, Leone behaved normally, hiding his fear since he felt Vivian might feel she was burden to him, that was why he was so protective of her.
"Griffin, how was your day? Did you find enjoyment in your work?" Elizabeth inquired with genuine interest.
"Quite fulfilling, Aunt Eliza," Griffin responded warmly, casting a quick glance at Leone.
"I'll arrange for some evening tea and snacks for both of you. Why don't you go freshen up first?" Elizabeth suggested to both of them.
