Lucas chuckled, setting the tray down on the nearby coffee table. "Chocolate and cherry," he confirmed, pouring them each a glass of deep red wine. "Thought we could use a little refueling."
Emily made grabby hands at the dessert. "Gimme," she demanded, grinning. "I've definitely worked up an appetite."
"So impatient," Lucas teased, but he obliged, handing her a plate and fork. "Careful, or I might have to teach you some manners."
Emily smirked, taking a bite of the rich, creamy cheesecake. "Mmm," she moaned exaggeratedly. "Maybe I want you to teach me a lesson, Daddy. After cheesecake, though.”
