Sheila took Wilson back to her office.
She deliberately put on a stern face and said seriously, "Why did you come to the hospital alone? Didn't Mommy tell you to stay at home and not wander off? Don't you know it's dangerous outside? What if something had happened to you while you were out alone?"
Inwardly, she worried that he was still too young. What if he encountered danger while running around?
Facing his mother’s stern gaze, Wilson immediately realized his mistake. He rested his little head on Sheila’s shoulder, nuzzling against her like a small kitten.
"Mommy, I just missed you so much, that's why I came to the hospital. Please don't be angry, okay? Mommy, I know I did wrong. I won't wander off alone in the future."
Sheila couldn’t bring herself to be truly angry with him. As so
