I awoke in a hospital, an IV drip in my arm and the smell of flowers in my room. I really hated hospitals with a burning passion. They always had crappy doctors and patients that didn't understand that they couldn't always be the top priority. Don't even get me started on the sobbing families.
So I grabbed my IV and took it out and dressed in the provided clothes and left. No one looked my way once.
I pushed my door open before licking my lips. Someone was in my house. I wasn't quite sure where but someone was here. I crack my knuckled before closing my eyes to concentrate. It took a few to locate them but I did.
They were hiding in my laundry room.
"Come on out." Surprisingly they listened. Based on their aura it was a female. With ease water traveled up her body and froze, trapping her there. "Talk, I'm in no mood to play these silly games." She breathed heavily knowing her options weren't good. "I was sent here to attack you."
I huff already knowing this.
"Who sent you."
"It was a woman, I don't know her they only referred to her as she." I growl softly. That was a pathetic answer. "If you tell me who they are you may have a chance at living." She cries loudly as she inhaled before exhaling. "The alpha of the rouges, the leader of the witches coven and even some sirens." They said they're working with The Banished One."
"Thank you." I carefully think over the given information and make my choice.
"Does this mean I get to live!" Her voice seemed grateful and happy. Her heartbeat was wild, beating quickly until it wasn't. "Maybe in your next life, you will grow old and have kids." There are always innocent people who die in the war, everyone suffers at some point. And sadly she got mixed up on the bad side.
Even if I did let her live, she would be hunted for the rest of her life.
Sliding my hands underneath her I walk putback and toss her into the fire pit. A quick prayer to the moongodess and then I set fire. Her body burns, the smell was horrid but I forced myself to stay there after all I did kill her.
I waited until she was nothing but bones and ashes before I trudged back into the house.
Two hands gripping mine and then pressed against the wall. Inhaling deeply I moan gently. I loved this smell. "Baby, where'd you go." I hum gently, relishing his smell. "Hate hospitals." He nods before pressing a gentle kiss to my forehead. "I'm so sorry." I don't answer just squeeze him tighter praying this wasn't a dream.
"Can I mark you?"
I don't even hesitate to answer. I could feel his heartbeat pick up as he dives into my neck. Inhaling deeply before kissing it. His mouth latches onto it and sucks making the spot tender before sinking his canines in.
'You're all mine now. So please, don't ever die and leave me alone."
"I promise Lucas."
