Chapter 1 - The Paper

Scenery: A paper is flying to the neighborhood. Till such then, the paper hits a persons face. The content spread out and got stuck. The man removed the paper from his face and decided to throw it out.

Beggar: Ughh whats this? Tssskkk.. Stupid paper! *fling!

Several people passes by, celebrating the occassion with a smile. Everyone enjoys it except the man in a cap. The odds are getting busier and slowly become lousy. Each of them are talking about their achievements, future careers and how to live in the future.

Till such then, the man in a cap was bumped by the crowd. His phone fell on the ground. Trying to look for it, instead of seeing his phone he saw a paper. He picked the paper and put it on his pocket. After a brief moment, he finally found his phone. The moment that he touched his phone, someone accidentally stepped on his fingers. The man in a cap furiously scream because of the pain that he felt.

Man: Ooouuccchhh! Hey! What are you thinking? You damned ass jerk!

Stranger: Ooppss sorry men, I didnt mean to step on you. Are you okay?

Man: Are you teasing me? Do I look okay on your perception? Jeez man!

Stranger: Oh gosh, your finger is bleeding. Let me treat it for you.. Just stay still. Let me get an alcohol and a cotton back to my office. Its just across the street.

Man: Jeezz. Yeah sure.. Just make it fast. I will stay here.

Stranger: Oh sure. Then I'll be back for certain. Just hold on!

Man: Yah right!

The man sat on the bench. He didnt notice that his been waiting for a couple of minutes now. Waiting for the stranger to come, the man suddenly remembered the paper he found on the ground. He tried to get the paper inside his pocket using his bloody hand. The paper was marked by his blood and the man didnt notice it. He then decided to read the content of the paper.

"For the guys who seeks money. For the guys who seeks excitement. For the guys who seeks glory. For the guys who wants to know their full capacity in playing games. Join me! I will grant any wish of a participant who can survive my trials. This is a rare opportunity for every participant to test your luck and knowledge. These papers are only given to 20 participants only. Once the 20 participants marks the paper, each of them will be taken into a random place. Every participants will have 1 week to prepare for disembarkment. After signing the contract, participants are allowing us to do our bidding. All of the participants needs to complete the game that are designed for them in order to survive. Please read the terms and conditions if you wanted to take the game head on! While the man is curiously reading, he realized that his blood stained the paper. He decided to throw it and not to read the conditions. After throwing the paper, he then waited on the bench.

Across the street, he can see the stranger walking slowly. The stranger brought a cotton and an alcohol. He then treated the injured man and put a bandage on its wound. The man thank the stranger and soon they personally introduce themselves.

Man: Hey! Thank you for treating me and for doing this by the way! Im King Stevenson. A bystander. Whats your name?

Stranger: Hey! I didnt mean to hurt you. Still, it is my fault! Im sorry. Im Shawn Taylor, living in the northside of the state.

King: Oohhh! Nice meeting you Shawn. Apology accepted! Anyway, I need to go. Take care!

Shawn: Yeah! Sure! Nice meeting you bro..

Tried to take a leave, Shawn decided to ask for his contact number. Unethically, King decided to give it to him without a doubt. Their communication became a habit and they became close to each other.

On the 5th day, both of them agreed to meet halfway. They decided to meet at the mall. After having a good time walking in the mall. They went to the bar together. It was late in the evening, Shawn is already dazed and is drunk. He dont have a high tolerance with alcohol. King dont have a choice but to let him stay on his apartment until the sun shines. King decided to bring him and hailed a taxi. It was 2AM when they arrive at Kings apartment.

He carried Shawn gently to his apartment. Shawn's shirt is wet and his asleep. King decided to remove his shirt and let him sleep on his bed. Trying to remove his shirt makes King wonder how it feels to touch his chest. Looking at his innocent face makes him want to kiss. King gently looked at his masculine body and slowly touched his chest. Feeling the heat of wanting him. He hugged him lightly and listen to his heartbeat. Shawn felt the warmth and that wake him up. He suddenly grabbed King and kissed him wildly. King is at a loss and decided to give in. Both of them kissed like a wildcat and the hands of King is on Shawns chest. Shawn abruptly thrown him on the bed and pinned him. King hugged him tightly while Shawn is kissing his lips and licking his ear. He kissed his neck slowly down to his chest. King enjoyed it so much until such he fought back. He tried to pull him but he wont budge. So instead of pulling him back,he lifted Shawn's face and kissed him roughly from its neck down to his n*****s until he reached his belly button. He slowly removed Shawn's pants to do a b*****b. He can hear Shawns lovely voice feeling the moment of being sucked. Shawn lifted Kings face slowly and kissed him. He pushed him to the bed and remove his pants. Shawn f****d him without a doubt and he can hear Kings horny voice feeling him inside. It seems that King wanted him more. So he became aggressive and rough. He wont no longer budge and the pace became steady to fast.

King: Ughhh ughhh ughhh Yeah Shawn. f**k me hard.. Yeaaahh

Shawn: Yeah

Shawn wildly f****d him and both of them are like wildfire. He held King with force, trying to make sure that he cant move or fightback from the ease of sensation. The pace became faster and faster. Until, it reaches to the point where it pop out. Its like the rainbow showed up after the storm stops. Both of them laugh and looked at each other.

Shawn: Ughhhhhh! Did you enjoy it?

King: Yes

Shawn sucked his d**k and tried to do a b*****b. King finally c*m and was contented about their playtime. Shawn hugged him tightly as if there will be no tomorrow. While hugging and cuddling, the two of them fell asleep.

It was already 8AM when King woke up. Shawn is nowhere to be found. His stomach is aching and his hungry. He went to the kitchen to cook some food and saw a note. He decided to read the note and it stated "Thank you baby bear! I enjoyed it so much! Kindly check the plates and be sure to eat well. Hugs and kisses - Shawn".

King didnt notice that his already putting a smile on his face and decided to eat. After the meal, he decided to text him and went to the gym. King loves to exercise and he oftenly goes to the gym. He always do his daily routine and he loves reading.

It was past 4PM when he decided to head back home. He did not receive a reply from Shawn. King slowly hailed a cab to go home. At his apartment, he saw a package lying on his door. He is wondering if that package is from his mother or a surprise from Shawn. So he decided to get the package and brought it to his room. The package is addressed to him and the weight is lite. He took a shower for the meantime and decided to open the box later on. It was 6PM when he decided to eat his dinner. He lie down to his bed and tried to close his eyes. Rinnggg!! Rrinnngggg!! Beeeepp!! In his dream there was a huge accident in the forest, a lot of people died. He saw Shawns body lying on the ground with a cut of an axe. He was deeply jeopardized and he dont know what to do. Shawn screamed at him to run and survive. He ran and ran. He was pursued by someone. He will be killed if he wouldve stayed there. He fell on the hole and was impaled. The man who pursuits him stopped and tried to s***h him with axe. He screamed and that wakes him up. It was a terrible nightmare. King woke up sweating and his afraid to sleep again. He checked his phone and still no sign of Shawn. Lying in bed, he saw the package on his desk. He left it before he took a shower earlier. He decided to open the package and saw a parcel. He read the parcel and it states that: To all participants. This is an information in who you will encounter with".

King: Huh? Why am I listed here? I cant even recall if I joined something like sports or tournament..

It seems that he receive a list of the participants who took the challenge. King is wondering since he cant remember any game nor tournament that he signed for. What interest him is he saw the name of his friend, Shawn Taylor. He tried to call Shawn to confirm if it was him.

Riinggg! Riinggg!!! Ringggg!!

Click! Phone got disconnected.

Unfortunately, still no sign of Shawn. His extremely worried to Shawn now since the last time he texted him, he will get a reply as fast as lightning.

He decided to text him about it

"Hey bro! I saw a list in the parcel. Why are we both here in the list? I cant even recall if there was a game that I signed for. Did you sign for it? And please give me a call coz Im worried about you. Take care! I love you!".

After texting Shawn, he decided to wait for the response and play with his phone. It was almost 11:45PM when he fell asleep.

It was 7AM when he woke up. He went to the kitchen and cook his breakfast. After eating, he took a shower and went straight to the gym. King forgot to check his phone and he left it on his apartment. King is now exercising inside the gym when he saw someone looking at him in the shadows. He then took a break and check it if who it is. He followed it and call it. No response. It was past 4PM and still his trailing someone. Until he reached the room where he saw someone lying. It was Shawn. He rushed at him and carried him. It took a while when Shawn was back to his consciousness.

Shawn: Hey King! Whats going on? Someone hit me earlier and I blacked out.

King: For goodness sake! Why are you not responding to my text messages. Im worried about you! You damned ass fool!

Out of consciousness, King hugged him tightly and was a little bit calm after seeing him talking.

Shawn: Huh? Are you mad? We just talked last night and I even made your breakfast earlier. What do you mean?

King became speechless. He dont know what to say since its almost 2 days when he did not receive any response from Shawn.

King: Hey bro! Dont joke at me. It was last night when you made a breakfast and I texted you all day until today but I never receive any response from you. Are you sort of okay?

Shawn was wondering and cant believe of the words coming out from King but he nodded and smile.

Shawn: Oh? Is that so?

King: What happened to you earlier? Why are you lying here in the ground? Youre bleeding! Let me take a look!

Shawn: I cant remember but Im certain that someone hit me hard on my head. Can I go to your apartment? I want to be with you. Please!

King nodded and smile litely. King is wondering if whats going on. Why he is so muddy and why he is trembling. The only thing he knew is he wanted to take care of him as much as he could.

It was 6PM when they arrive at the apartment. Both of them sat down and King went to the kitchen to cook for dinner. Both of them are having a good conversation. They are both laughing at the same time. Until Shawn saw the box and asked whats inside.

Shawn: Whooaahh! Is this some sort of present?? Whats this? Who give it to you?

King: Oh? That one? Actually, I texted you about it! Theres a voucher inside of the box and it contains a list of participant. I checked the bottom of the box and saw this writing :

Such a basic competition to earn a prize. Complete the challenges and experience the hardships throughout the trial..We only live once, so play it wisely... DEATH GAME!

King: Did you signed me for a game the last time we went to the mall?

Shawn: No! I have nothing to do with this!

King: Dont fool me! Even you are included in the list. See it for yourself!

King handed the parcel to Shawn.

Shawn: Hmm Why is my name included here? I cant even recall that if I signed for something like this! As long as Im with you then I guess I will he safe.

Shawn put a smile on his face looking at King flirting at him. Both of them smiled and King gave him a kiss to his cheeks. Both of them decided to stop the chitchat and eat their dinner.

The day passed by and the sun was setting down. At exact 12AM, King receive a message indicating the departure will happen at exact 12AM later. Both of them are still awake. King even made a funny look and told Shawn about it.

Both of them laugh at it. They knew that theres no bus or airplane that will travel on that given time. Both of them disregarded the notice. It was past 12MN when both of them fell asleep.

Click clock click clock (alarm is buzzing)

King is half-asleep when his alarm rang. He went straight to the kitchen and brush his teeth. After that, he washed his face and prepare for their meal. He cooked a rice and open a canned goods for their breakfast.

Literally, he loves to exercise but since he woke up late with Shawn on his bed he didnt bother. King checked his phone and saw the notice about the game. It is a reminder when they will depart.

He decided to take a bath and let Shawn sleep for a while. After taking the shower, King woke him up to have a breakfast. It was almost 9AM when Shawn decided to leave. Till such then, he receive a text message indicating the countdown of his departure. King is wondering why there is a countdown on his phone. Later on, he disregarded it and decided to continue preparing something before going to gym.

---At the GYM-----

King is doing his daily routines. He keeps pushing up his limits and is continuing to build up his muscles. King is a thin guy dreaming to have a good and perfect body. He loves to watch a guy who has a perfect body feature. His always envious about it. His trying to make things possible for the sake of his dream body.

As time goes by, he decided to go home and eat his dinner. It was 7pm when he arrived at his apartment. He saw another package lying on his door. He took the package and saw that it was addressed to him again. He then went inside and tried to check the second package. He then stop himself from opening it and decided to take a bath.

Its almost 10PM when he opened it. He then saw a nametag with his name on it and a note. He decided to read the note and was shocked on what was written. He sat down on the floor and tremble. He continued reading it the note and it states that :

"Congratulations for taking the test! As part of the participants of Death Game, you must now prepare for your disembarkment. Someone will take you to unspecified area and soon you will experience the bloody game that you signed for. Failure to comply and to complete the challenge will cost your life. Have a bloody journey and oh you wont live anyway ?? tik tak tik tak tik tak! And take note: you cant escape even if you wanted to. You already signed the terms and conditions of the contract and there will be no regrets in taking the part of it. Ooppsss! Theres only 1 way for you to quit the game.. Thats if you die...... Nyahahahaha.......

King gazed into nowhere and he felt the chill raising to the back of his neck. He checked his phone and the countdown only has 2 more hours. King disregarded the memos and decided to throw the box. He decided to call Shawn but Shawn wont respond. He texted him about it. He tried to make up with his composure and tried to be calm. In a short while, King fell asleep.

It was almost 4:30AM when he woke up. King slowly opened his eyes and was blinded by darkness. It seems that he woke up in a different place far out from his origins. He cant believe in what he saw due to the darkness that shrouded his sight. The sun is slowly rising and what surprised him the most are the number of people that was tied by two. He then realized that he cannot move and he is with someone that was tied like others.
