Game Over

Chapter 2 - Let The Game Begin!

"The sky is dark and the sorroundings are cold. I dont even know what is happening. The only thing that I remembered is I receive a package and fell asleep".

"The sun is slowly rising. I can see a lot of people being tied in two. I tried to move but I wont budge. I tried to talk but my mouth were shut. I tried to bump my head to the person whose on my back but theres no movement nor response. It seems that the man is still asleep or the worst is if he is unconscious". King muttered

"The sun was finally bright and if I guess it right,its already 7AM. My head is aching. It feels like someone hit my head at the back. Im still dizzy. Im hungry and thirsty. But my heartbeat became faster and faster after I heard an unrecognizable noise".

"There was a terrible noise coming from the depths of the woods. Its like a metal being carried and garnered on the ground. The noise is killing my hearing and its very irritating. It seems that there was someone lurking behind the trees other than us".

A couple of minutes passed by, I saw a shadow in the depths. I cant hardly see his face. But one thing is for sure, I can sense that his dangerous and is different from us".

"As he walks slowly going from us. I checked our cuffs. There were 3 different colors on it. Green, yellow and red. I didnt bother thinking about the light but as I tried to remove my cuffs. The lights switched from colorless to green. It felt that my cuffs became tighter and heavier. It was an unusual feeling being contemplated with a trivial thing like this".

"I tried to turn around but I failed. I noticed that there was a chain on my neck that prevents me in doing that. I guess turning around is not an option. Same with cuffs,the chain on my neck became tighter and heavier after the light on my cuffs became green. I never thought that each attempt will will give me a serious problem".

Knowing the fact that we are tied by two. It gives me a hard time thinking and looking for a way to escape. It seems that we are like a dogs in someone's show".

"I can tell that were many. It seems that the others are not aware yet. I can hear their loud snore. It seems that their fast asleep considering the time that we have now".

"The moment that I saw the man in the robe slowly approaching us mades me tremble. He is now showing himself, dragging a scyte and creating a noise. That noise is practically aweful. Its like his breaking my eardrums. Because of the noise, my two ears bled out of nowhere".

"He is wearing a terrible mask. His eyes are as blue as the ocean. By looking at him,it makes my spine shivers. Each time he took a step, the plants and trees withers. Even bugs and animals decays. It seems that he can absorb the life energy of every living things who comes across with him".

"As he walks closer and closer to us, I imagined that all of us will wither and its the end for us. He then stood in front of us and began to mumble. I cant understand his words but I know for sure that the feeling of being killed on the spot is within our grasp. He gives me a chill that no one can".

"In front of us is a throne. An empty throne that has a branch and roots on it. Beside it was a candle and skulls. It seems that the man is going to the throne".

"The man slowly went to the throne dragging his scyte on the ground. The noise is unbareable. It seems that he intends to drag it to make some noise. Because of that, I can hear the others slowly waking up from the depths of their slumber".

"Waking up one by one, I can hear their desperate voice trying to release themselves from the chains and from the cuffs. I head a several beep! It seems that the light of the cuffs became green after the attempt. All of us felt the terror of his presence and we tried to stay still within our place. Unable to look at each other, thinking is the only way to escape this escapade".

"As the wind shift, the sensation of fear began to grow. Some began to cry and others began to panic. Later on, the man in the robe sat on the throne putting his scyte beside him. As he sat on the throne, he began to introduce himself announcing why we are tied by two and why we are here". King continued..

Man in the robe: Oh? If is it my lovely guest. I believe that you all know what youre upto and why youre all here? Let me introduce myself. I am the King of Give and take. I am the God of Greed and I am the beast who will s*******r you once you failed my test.I am Azethyst Zephamathyrphrus. I am your administrator and I am your God here in this game zone. I will grant you any wish but I will only grant it to a player who can complete my challenge".

"All of you are my players and you should all compete to survive. Theres no way for you to escape unless you die. Bwahahahahah".

"This is my game and these are my rules! In games, you have 3 lives to complete the challenges. But knowing that human can only live once! Once you fail! You die! Cheating is prohibited! Once I caught someone doing a disgraceful act, he or she will taste my wrath". Azethyst continued.

"I will be announcing the first game sooner. We will start at 7:30AM. Ready or not, your life is mine!". Azethyst continued.

"He then took a roulette and place it in front of us. It was a funny made roulette with a games of a child. Looking at every games inside the roulette makes me wonder why or how will it cost our lives".

"Looking at our reactions, the administrator's mood became foul. His eyes became red and and his teeth began to change. In a short while, we saw his beastly demon face who is craving for meat. He became tenacious and ferocious. All of us were shocked as we witnessed his gruesome self began to change".

Azethyst: As you see my true self, all of you must follow what my rules are. Or youll end up staying inside my belly! Bwahahahaha!! La la la la la! Once I spin the roulette, that will decide our game. Thats if you can reach the second game! Bwahahahha!!

"In a world of chaos, entertainment is the perfect thing! Looking at you all, the mere insects playing death game is perfectly awesome. I want to see your performance badly! Bwahahahah! For every pest who can pass my trial will receive a gift. That gift will be used to complete the levels".

"In this game, all of you are my pawns in competing others! A pawn that will serve me eternally! A pawn that can be sacrifice without a word. Once you succeed, a tenacious gift awaits you!".

Servant: My Lord! The Lord of Dusk - Epherium is conducting a summon. He enticed all the Lords of the realm to compete with him! They gave me the letter and they told me to address it to you!

As Azethyst began to mumble, he saw the tag and the picture of the reward. Its the forsaken crown, a crown granted to the Lord who can accomplish the hardships of trials. In legends, the crown can only be redeemable if the sacrificial horse mutates and become a unicorn. In other words, a Lord who owns a player that will mutate in somewhat significant will be sacrificed for the crown.

As the crown is a myth itself, the Lord all over the realm decided to compete themselves for the prize. The crown will only appear to the champion who seeks true victory. It is knowned as the forbidden sector which no one can hold except for the Lord who owned the champion.

In order to attain it, the prescribed sacrifices must become a solid champion. A warrior whos best from its origin. A warrior that can be mold like a rock into a gleamstone. Nobody knows what the Forsaken Crown looks like. But in their prescriptions, it will only appear if the moon and the sun collides.

Once the moon and the sun collides, a champion will born. Because of their prescriptions, each time the sun and the moon collides they will get someone from the other world. They will train it mentally, emotionally and physically by the means of games.

Every contenders will be obliged to do their bidding once they marked the invitation letters with blood.

Since Azethyst is the God of Greed, he cant let this chance skip. So he decided to get a player who can survive to his unimaginable trial. The trial that consist of 0.002% survival rate. Azethyst no longer expect that someone can pass to his trials.

Since Azethyst is the King of Give and Take, he loves to offer gifts to someone who can pass his trials. Azethyst is considered as the Lord of Games in the Realm. Each time that he will initiate the game, no one can beat him. Yet now, he was challenged by the Lord of Dusk. Showing how Azethyst is capable of handling things, he cant afford to let this chance pass him.

Azathyst ordered his pawns to create a bloodbath ticket. A ticket that is consealed like it was nothing. Thats when he decided to create a paper that whoever read it will be enticed for the prize.

In King's memory - -

Everything was working well specially after he met the person that he wanted to cherish for his entire life. Thinking back to the old days makes him want to cry.

It seems that everything went fast and at this moment he will die any time. Not seeing the face of Shawn makes him sad. King tried to think of him thoroughly. He was the precious memory that he dont want to forget.

Mainly at this moment, King realized that he loved Shawn unexpectedly. Knowing that he cant no longer see Shawn made him sob. His eyes became red and his heart began to hurt. It seems that he was stabbed multiple times. He missed him so much.

Thinking of the moment that they were together, specially on how they met made him smile. At the same time, it made him cry.

King suddenly woke up to his deep thoughts when he heard the loud bang.

Bang! Bang! Bang! *it was from the bass drum.

Suddenly, Azethyst stood up announcing the time.

Azethyst: Oohhhh hoh hoh! The time is now 7:30AM..Ready or not! Your life is mine!
