That Was My Mom

Luc’s POV                   I heard my mom talking to someone on my phone, when she hung up, I asked her who it was. “I don’t know Lucas; she hung up before I could finish asking.” I took the phone from my mom and checked the call log, it was Sam. My baby called me and hung when she heard my mom’s voice. Why would she hang up? What would she want? Does she want to get back together? Goddess. How I missed her. I tried calling her but she kept ignoring it. So, I decided to text her. Hopefully, she would respond to that. Sam, baby, I saw that you called. I tried calling you back and you kept rejecting my calls, so I’m texting. I miss you. I love you.   Baby, are you there? If you are, text me back. Sam, text me back, please.   Sam, I’m sorry, please respond.                 After several texts and no response, I tried calling again, this time, she picked up. The call didn’t go like I was expecting at all. “Lucas, what the f**k! Why is another woman answering your goddamn f*****g phone after you told me that you loved me?’ “Hahaha.” “What the f**k is so funny, you f*****g asshole?” “You’re jealous! That’s what’s so funny,” I responded. “f**k you!’ “Sam, come on. Baby, you’re being ridiculous.” “I’m being ridiculous? Go to hell! You’re the one that told me that you loved me.” I just sat there and listened to her rant and rave; all the while, the headache from my hangover only got worse. “Just to have another woman in your bed, answering your phone? f**k you, Lucas!” “Baby, can you calm down just enough to let me explain?” I asked her. Apparently, telling a pissed-off woman to calm down is not the right way to handle things. “Don’t you f*****g dare tell me to calm down, you c**k sucking bastard. f**k you!” Goddess, does my girl have a mouth on her. If it were anyone else talking to me that way, I would have been pissed. But, my girl, how could I get mad at someone so goddamn adorable? “Baby, she wasn’t in my bed, although, I have been in hers before. Hahahaha.” “f**k You, Lucas, and f**k her too!” “No,” I responded. “I would much rather f**k you. Hahahaha.” “Go to” Before, Sam could finish, I told her, “She’s my mom Samantha.” “What?? What did you just say?” “The other woman that answered my phone is my mom Baby. You have nothing to worry about. I’m not f*****g her.” There was silence on the other end of the phone. “Sam, are you there? Sam, say something, please.” “Sam, are you there?’ “She’s really your mom?” Sam finally responded, Thank The Moon Goddess. “Yes, she’s my mom. And, before, you ask. I drank a lot last night. My parents live with me; she was bringing me breakfast when you called.” “Seriously Luc?’   “Yes, when have I ever lied to you? Baby, I miss you. Can I see you sometime soon?” “Yes.” “Ok. I’ll be there tomorrow night to pick you up. Be ready at seven,” I told Sam. “Luc.” “Yes, Baby?” “I’m sorry.” “It’s fine. I Forgive you. I’ll see you tomorrow.”                 I can’t believe that Sam was Jealous of my mom; even more unbelievable, she thought that I was f*****g her. Hahahaha. I’m never going to let her live this down. This will be a story for the ages. I loved hearing her voice again. It didn’t matter that she was pissed off and has the mouth of a sailor. I could listen to her voice all day and never tire of it.  I told my mom why Sam hung up her and she laughed. “Poor girl. She really thought that we were sleeping together?” Luc’s mom Annabelle asked. “Yes, she did.” “Well, at least, she is a fiery one. Hahahaha.” “Yes that she is. Hahaha.” “Well, don’t forget to bring her by tomorrow night. Your Dad and I would love to finally meet the girl who has stolen your heart,” my mom told me. “Ok.”
