Chapter 98
The couple could not shake off this feeling of unease, and they finally agreed on the idea of conducting a DNA test. Antonio, after much consideration, decided to take the plunge and do a secret DNA test to confirm their doubts.
The test results were shocking. Matilda turned out to be Antonio's biological daughter from a previous relationship he does not even remember or has a clue how it all played out in his past but he was sure of the fact that the doctor wasn’t telling a lie as he was the trusted family doctor. Antonio was left in disbelief, while Christianah was devastated. She could not believe that her husband had kept this a secret from her all this while.
The car ride back home was silent. Christianah sat in the back seat, staring out of the window, lost in thought.
