“Hey Beatrice, I just wanted to let you know that I got a lady pregnant and I’m sorry and I’m super f****d in the head right now not knowing what to do”. Vivian shook her head with disapproval.
“Jack, you can’t say that to the woman that will just lay her off and she’d be gone before you can even blink your eyes” her words were like larva melting his feelings away.
He manned up and raised his chin, “you may leave Vivian, I can handle myself” he suddenly sounded harsh and chased Vivian out of his office like she was a total stranger, he thought of his conversation with her in the parking lot and the little one he’s had here in the office.
