I keep thinking the same thing, why would my brother say it if it wasn't true? His words are still inside my head and I can't find an explanation for it. That's why he acted so strange the day I told him about the alpha coming to town.
I get out of bed and leave the room, go down to the dining room to help prepare the food for the gentlemen. I hear Aaron say that Sabrina's father is coming today for a very important dinner.
“Put the blackberries on Miss Sabrina's cake. I'm not feeling very well, do you think you can finish for me? Oh, and please don't let the food get cold. Ethan will be upset.” One of the maids asks me.
“Don't worry, go rest and I'll take care of dinner” I accept with a smile.
“Thank you, Alice…”
I smile at her to let her know it's okay
