Ramya replied seriously,
"This was in Siya's hands. She kept it very carefully. I don't know what's in it that she never showed it to anyone, not even me."
Druv interrupted her,
"If she doesn't want to show it to anyone, then you shouldn't have opened it either."
Ramya ignored his comment and said, "She likes facing troubles alone. But I don't want that."
Saying this, Ramya opened the file. Inside, there was Siya's medical report. As soon as Ramya read the report, the color drained from her face, and tears started falling from her eyes.
Druv, seeing this, got worried and pulled the car over to the side. He asked, "Are you okay? What happened?"
Ramya didn't respond; she just kept staring at the report. Druv took the report from her, read it, and was left stunned. The report stated that Siya was suffering from a serious illness, and she didn't have much time left to live.
Druv was deeply shocked by this. He was trying to comfort Ramya, while also thinking about Zion.
"If Zion finds out about this, what will he do? How did Siya get this? Why did she have the same disease that once..."
Druv's mind was filled with a storm of questions. Suddenly, Ramya said,
"Let's go back. I need to be with Siya."
Druv replied, "No. We can't go. Just be patient. Something doesn't feel right about all of this."
Ramya, unable to listen to him, said, "Fine, I'll go by myself." She jumped out of the car and started running. Druv quickly got out of the car, caught up with her, and said, "You can't go. Listen to me!"
Ramya, in anger, retorted, "If you don't take me, I'll go myself."
"Are you crazy? Listen to me. If you go to Zion now, everything will get ruined."
Ramya jerked her wrist free in anger and said, "And how long should I wait? Until Siya's life is over? Druv, you won't understand! She's not just my best friend; she's like a sister to me. I can't leave her in this condition!"
Druv looked into her eyes and said in a pained tone, "You think I don't understand? But do you know what might happen if Zion finds out about this?"
Ramya, her voice filled with anger and tears, responded, "What do you mean? He should know the truth. He's been spending so much time with Siya, yet he has no idea about her condition! This isn't right."
Druv stared directly into her eyes, took a deep breath, and said, "It's necessary to hide the truth from him. Zion is not the kind of person who can face this truth. For him, Siya is not just a girl... she's his weakness. And when weaknesses come to light, a person becomes weak."
Ramya said softly, "But what should I do? I can't leave Siya alone in this condition."
Druv, in a gentle tone, said, "I want the same thing. But you have to understand that Zion needs to know at the right time, in the right way. If Siya has hidden this till now, there must be a reason. She doesn't want Zion to find out. And I find all of this strange. I'll try to find out more about this. Until then, don't tell anyone anything."
Ramya asked, "What do you mean by strange?"
Druv told Ramya about Mayra, Zion's first love, whose death was caused by a similar illness. Druv said, "Something is definitely wrong."
Taking a deep breath, Druv added, "Alright. I'll drop you home, and then I'll look into this. Ramya couldn't understand anything."
"If Zion finds out about Siya's illness, will he be able to handle it, or will his past break him again?"
What is the truth behind Ramya and Druv's suspicions? Is there really a deeper conspiracy behind Siya's illness, or is it just a coincidence?"
Druv and Ramya sat in the car, surrounded by silence. Druv let out a long sigh and said,
"Ramya, this isn't just a report. It... seems to be part of something bigger. This looks like part of a large conspiracy."
Ramya looked at him in surprise.
"What do you mean?" she asked.
Druv, carefully studying the report, said in a serious tone,
"The illness mentioned in this report is the same illness that destroyed Zion's past. And now Siya has it too? This can't be a coincidence."
Ramya's eyes widened in disbelief.
"You mean what happened to Siya is part of a plan?"
Druv looked at her and said,
"Zion is very protective of Siya. He’s not just afraid of losing her; he’s afraid of losing himself too. If he finds out about all of this... Ramya, he will break."
A deep silence filled the car. Both of their minds were swirling with questions.
Druv spoke again,
"I'll drop you home. I need to investigate these reports further."
Ramya nodded, but her heart was heavy with unease.
On the other side...
Siya was pacing angrily in her room.
"Why doesn't Zion understand that I don't need his help?" she muttered to herself.
Just then, Zion entered the room and said,
"The doctor will be here soon. Your health isn't good, and I’m not taking any risks."
Siya’s face went pale. She knew that if the doctor examined her, the truth about her illness would come to light.
"Zion, there's no need to call the doctor. I’m fine," she said.
Zion looked into her eyes and said,
"I don't see you being fine. And I’m not going to listen to any excuses. The doctor is coming, that's final."
Siya knew she couldn’t lie any longer. She quietly came up with a plan. After a moment, once Zion left the room, she quietly opened the door and slipped out. The cold wind bit at her, but she didn’t care. She just had to get away from Zion.
As she walked along the cold streets, Siya asked herself, "Where will I go? Why does every step pull me toward him, the one I’m trying to run away from?" Her eyes were filled with tears, and her heart with countless questions.
Zion was sitting in the study, watching CCTV footage of the incident. Something suddenly felt off, so he got up and went toward Siya's room. He saw that the door was open and Siya was nowhere to be found. He checked the house cameras. Siya had run away. His eyes turned red with anger and panic. He was stunned, thinking, "Why is she doing this?"
