A Truth Unveiled The man finally spoke, "My name is Dhruv. And I’m here on my boss’s orders." "Who is your boss?" Ramya demanded, her voice sharp. Dhruv hesitated for a moment before replying, "You don’t know him, but just understand this—he wants to keep Siya safe." Ramya scoffed, "Safe? Since when does k********g count as protection?" Dhruv’s expression turned serious. "Sometimes, to do the right thing, you have to take the wrong path." Ramya looked at him carefully. His eyes were serious, but somewhere, there was a softness hidden in them. For a moment, Ramya almost believed what he was saying. But then she snapped back, "I don’t have time to listen to your excuses. Let me and Siya go now!" Dhruv stood up from the chair and said, "Your bravery is commendable, but your stubbornness could land you in trouble." Ramya replied angrily, "And your smartness will leave you alone one day." Dhruv smiled. "I kind of like your fighting spirit." Ramya rolled her eyes. "I don’t need your compliments. Just tell me, why did you take Siya?" He looked at Ramya and said, "Why are you so worried? I won’t let anything happen to Siya." Ramya stared into his eyes and, teasingly, said, "Are you telling the truth?" Dhruv lowered his gaze for a moment and replied, "The truth. But the truth isn’t always that simple." Just then, Siya began to regain consciousness. She looked around the room, and with a scared voice, asked, "Ramya... where are we?" Ramya, comforting Siya, said, "Everything’s fine." Dhruv interrupted, "You both don’t need to run away from here. I can help you." Ramya glared at him and asked, "Why should we trust you?" Aditya said in a calm tone, "Because, other than me, you have no other choice." --- Mysterious Call Dhruv was talking on his phone. A serious yet calm voice came from the other side, "Bring Siya to me safely." Dhruv sighed deeply. "There's a problem. Her... crazy friend is with her too." There was a moment of silence on the other side. Then the voice responded, "What? Who? She probably only has one friend... but I’ve never met her. Is it the same one?" Dhruv gave a slight smile and said, "Yes, it's her." He had already gathered full information about Ramya from his team. The person on the other side spoke in a serious tone, "If she’s her close friend, then make sure you take her safely home as well." Dhruv shook his head, "Fine. But this girl... she’s not going to be easy. She asks so many questions that it will drive you crazy before you even leave." The voice on the other side became lighter, yet playful. "Then tell her. If she can understand, it will be better. But neither of them should come to any harm." Dhruv hung up the phone and fell into deep thought. He turned around to find Siya and Ramya still sitting in the corner, glaring at him. "What's the plan now?" Ramya asked, giving him a suspicious look. Dhruv moved towards them and said, "You need to get ready to go home." "Really? Just like that?" Ramya mocked. "How can I believe that your intentions are good? Who are you people? And why..." Dhruv raised his hand to stop her and said, "There's no time for questions. But I'll say this, neither of you is in danger anymore." Ramya glared at him. "How do you know that I’ll trust you?" Dhruv smiled softly. "You don’t have another choice. And besides, I think you can't stay quiet for too long. Asking questions is your obsession." Ramya angrily replied, "These questions are because I want to know what game you people are playing." Siya, who had been silent until now, spoke gently, "Ramya, maybe we should just go with him for now. There’s no other option." Dhruv looked at Siya for a moment. Her voice was filled with innocence and concern. He nodded and said, "Let's go, don’t waste time. You might get your answers on the way." Ramya still didn’t give up. "And if your intentions turn out to be wrong?" Dhruv laughed, "Then you’ll try to defeat me just like you were doing a while ago. But believe me, this is not the time to fight." He moved forward and opened the door. "Let’s go, it’s already late." Ramya glared at him and said, "I want my answers. And if I don’t get them, I won’t let you go next time." Dhruv looked back with a faint smile. "I’ll wait." Who was the man on the other side? Were his intentions truly good? To find all these answers, they had to move forward. The Shadow of Mystery Deepens As they stepped out of the dark room, a cold breeze hit their faces. Silence surrounded them, like the calm before a storm. Ramya and Siya’s faces showed clear signs of tension, but Dhruv seemed completely calm and composed. "Where are you taking us now?" Ramya quickly asked. Dhruv looked at her and, with a faint smile, said, "I’ll tell you on the way. Just let me get you to the car first." "On the way? What secret is there that you can’t tell us here?" Ramya teased. Dhruv leaned towards her and said, "Does your obsession with asking questions ever stop?" Ramya lifted her chin and replied, "I won’t stop until I get the answers to my questions." Dhruv shook his head with a small laugh and said, "Alright, let’s see if I can handle your questions." When they reached the car, Dhruv pointed towards another car and said to Siya, "You sit in this one. You’ll be taken straight to a safe place." Siya tried to say something, but Dhruv silenced her with a wave of his hand. "Don’t worry. You’ll be completely safe." Ramya raised an eyebrow in anger. "And me? Where are you taking me?" Dhruv smiled, opened the car door, and gestured for her to get in. "You’re coming with me. I’m sure you’ll enjoy my company." Ramya glared at him. "If I get tired of your talk, your company will be more of a headache than anything else." Dhruv started the car and said, "I could already guess that from your words. But let’s see who increases whose headache." The car picked up speed. Ramya, who had not calmed down, began asking questions again. "Why did you send Siya in a separate car? And who was the man on the other side of the phone? Who are you people?" Dhruv sighed deeply. "You really never take a break, do you?" Ramya snapped, "I’ll take a break when I get the answers to my questions." Dhruv smiled at her. "Your questions are so many that if I start answering each one, we’ll end up spending the whole night in this car."
