Ramya turned back and said, "Fine. I have no objections. As long as I’m getting answers, I can stay in the car."
Dhruv laughed, "You really are something else. How can you be so stubborn being friends with a calm girl like Siya?"
Ramya quickly responded, "There’s no rule for friends. Besides, I do what feels right to me."
Dhruv said in a lightly teasing tone, "I’m starting to understand why arguing with you is pointless."
Ramya gave a victorious smile, "Finally, you understand the truth."
The car slowed down a little, and Dhruv looked at her seriously. "Ramya, one thing you should know. This matter is far more complicated than you think. And I promise you, I’ll explain everything. But not right now. First, securing you and Siya’s safety is the priority."
Ramya softened a little and said, "Alright. But if you do anything wrong, I won’t let you off."
Dhruv took a deep breath and smiled faintly. "I expected that from you."
Amidst their banter, the car continued on its way, and the curtain of mystery slowly deepened.
Sia and Ramya's paths were now diverging.
Ramya, panicked, asked Dhruv, "Where are you taking her? And why is she going to the other side?" Her voice reflected clear fear and confusion.
Dhruv took a deep breath and said, "I'm taking you home, but it's important to take Sia to a different place."
Ramya's face scrunched in irritation, "What does that mean? Why aren't you giving me any answers?"
Dhruv, trying to calm her, said, "Calm down, Ramya. Just relax."
But Ramya, ignoring his words, yelled in anger, and in that fury, she slapped Dhruv hard.
Dhruv was taken aback, and he tightly gripped the car's steering wheel. "Calm down!" he said, "We're going to crash!"
However, Ramya, who was entirely distressed for Sia, ignored his warning. One more jolt, and the car crashed into a tree, coming to a halt. Both their breaths were heavy, and then silence enveloped them.
On the other side, Sia’s condition was getting worse. Due to fatigue and weakness, she had fainted in the car. She had no idea where she was headed.
Meanwhile, Dhruv and Ramya had just been in an accident. As they stepped out of the car, Dhruv, panicked, asked Ramya, "Are you okay?"
Ramya responded angrily, "Are you okay? This is all because of you!"
Dhruv, in frustration, said, "You are a disaster! Every step with you is nothing but trouble!"
Both stepped out of the car, and Dhruv took a deep breath, "Are you happy now?"
Ramya replied, "I’m not happy! What should I expect from you?" as she glared at him.
However, Dhruv, with a faint smile, said, "If you keep seeing me like this, what should I expect from you?"
Dhruv took another deep breath and said, "This is all because of your anger."
Ramya, still furious, grabbed the collar of his shirt and demanded, "Tell me straight, where is Sia?"
Dhruv, pulling his shirt away, said, "First a slap, and now this? Listen, I’m not your servant!"
Ramya snapped back, "Don’t act like a servant, but I want to know where Sia is!"
Dhruv angrily turned around and said, "Sia is with zion. So stop worrying and let me think."
Ramya, in shock and irritation, asked, "What? That crazy zion?"
Dhruv glared at her and said, "Talk with respect. He’s my boss."
Ramya sarcastically responded, "Your boss's name is zion? And why are you so loyal to him?"
Dhruv laughed and replied, "Not loyal, I’m like a friend to him. And he’s a far better person than you think." Dhruv was honest and trustworthy when it came to Gion, and despite zion's eccentric behavior, there was a deep trust between them.
Frustrated, Dhruv said, "Your words are giving me a headache. If you can’t stay calm, at least don’t make me angry!"
Ramya retorted, "Angry? I’m angry?"
Meanwhile, Dhruv made a call to summon someone.
At that moment, Sia suddenly opened her eyes and found herself in a luxurious house. Weak and in pain, she was unable to get up, but still tried to push herself up and attempted to leave.
As she staggered, she suddenly saw someone and, in panic, said, "You... you? This much?" and then fainted again.
The room was dimly lit. The curtains were swaying, and the sound of cold wind rustling broke the silence. Sia's eyes slowly began to open. She felt the heavy fatigue on her eyelids, but she made an effort to stay awake. As soon as she surveyed the room, her eyes landed on a stranger standing in front of her.
zion. "Sia said in her weak voice.
There was a faint sparkle in her eyes, and a subtle smile played on her lips. She had a tracker in her hands, which she carefully placed on the table. Then, turning toward him, she asked softly, "Are you okay?"
Sia kept staring at him. zion understood the confusion in her gaze. He spoke in a calm voice, "Don't worry. You're safe. I brought food for you, and also some medicine. You need rest badly."
Sia didn't respond. Her eyes remained fixed on zion's face. There was an unusual confidence in his gait, but a strange softness in his smile. Sia's mind was filled with hundreds of questions.
zion pointed to the medicine on the table and said, "You need to take these. You should rest now."
His tone was not commanding, just a gentle request. But Sia's mind refused to calm down. As zion stepped out of the room, he gave a faint smile and said, "I'll be back soon. Don't tire yourself out."
Gion stepped outside and took a deep breath. He took out his phone and checked the tracker settings. Muttering to himself, he said, "If she tries to escape or gets into any trouble, I should know immediately."
Sia tried to get up. Her head was spinning, but she didn’t stop herself. As she moved towards the door, she heard a faint sound. She paused.
Her heartbeat quickened.
As soon as she placed her hand on the door latch, she heard footsteps from outside. She immediately stepped back. The door opened, and zion stepped inside again.
"You're still trying to get up?" he asked.
The questions in Sia's mind echoed louder within the walls of the room. She turned to zion and asked, "What’s really going on? First, you enter my life, then leave without a word, and now, you've kidn*pped me!"
zion didn't say anything.
Will zion be able to answer Sia's questions, ones he himself doesn't know the answers to?
