"Alessandro just let it be, he won't call again"
"And how can you be so sure of that? " Alessandro fired back.
"Because I warned him". Serena didn't want Alessandro to make anything big out of it, she could tell he was very angry by the look in his eyes.
Serena's small conviction was working, Alessandro dropped the phone in the space beside them and loosened his tie.
His mood softened, for a minute he forgot he was overwhelmed in happiness.
Dane was just bad luck and bad news, he wasn't going to allow him mess up again.
"I have good news though" Alessandro smiled
"I have good news too" Serena laughed back. The two of them sat properly beside each other and Alessandro gestured for Serena to talk first.
