Chapter EighteenNikki is sitting outside A&R guy Mick Mitchell’s office. His secretary Gina is a dusky Scandinavian beauty in her 20s with a slim figure starts to walk past but Nikki stops her. “Excuse me. Is Mick going to be much longer I’ve been waiting for over an hour?” Gina apologises, “Sorry about that. It’s been very busy today. I’ll just go and see if he’s ready for you.”
Gina walks towards a nearby office. The office is similar to Danny Seabrook’s only without the big dustbin. A female mannequin sits in the corner instead as does a guitar. Gold discs hang on the wall as a testament to the company’s success.
Mick is tall in stature and very handsome with slick jet-black hair. He is in his 40s but trying to dress younger than his years. He is playing a computer game as Gina enters
