I've been on edge ever since Nate left this morning. I know Claudia,she must be furious right now, she'll kill me without a single doubt. Nate is her life,she's insanely obsessed with him.
What if she hurts Esther? Or Kai? I know he's a big man but she has money and can get people who can hurt him. Nate told me to stay inside and not call anyone, but Esther must be worried sick.
I rush to the bedroom and pull out the phone I ordered during my stay in Nate's apartment,I put in the simcard and dial Esther's number which I copied. I pace back and forth as I bite my fingernail, waiting for her to pick up
"Hello?" Her voice answers
I pause and close my eyes briefly
"Esther,it's Naomi."
Silence
"Hello?"
I move the phone from my ear and check the screen,it's still connected.
