Liliana I woke up to the sound of birds singing outside my window. The morning sun filtered through white silk curtains, casting gentle patterns on the marble floor. Everything was beautiful, peaceful, and perfect. This was the life every woman desire, and would do all it takes to have. So why did I feel like something was terribly wrong? "Good morning, my love," came a familiar voice from the doorway. I turned to see my husband walking towards me with a breakfast tray. Nikita Gromov was tall and handsome, with graying hair and kind blue eyes. He always brought me breakfast in bed, always spoke to me with such tenderness. But something deep in my chest felt cold whenever he touched me. "Good morning," I said softly, accepting the kiss he pressed to my forehead. "How did you sleep?"
