  Chapter Forty-Five Twelve hours later Vilnius, Lithuania Sophia took a longer shower than usual, running the last five minutes with cold water. When she was done, she put a fresh dressing over the laceration on her arm and dug out a change of clothes. She left her compromised Kevlar vest on the bathroom floor.
