I followed Nelly, trailing closely behind her, my senses at the highest peak scanning the environment, how did I get here, how did I allow doubt to munch at me for so many years?
I was the only one who knew nothing about Nelly’s disloyalty because every other person somewhat had an idea.
What am I doing here? I began to question myself. I was having second thoughts on what I should do, I should have just confronted her. I guess that would have been easier, but with the pain and hurt I just couldn't bring myself to do that.
I followed her through the path my heart pounding hard in my chest. Not that I didn't know already what I was about to see but I hoped I had read the letter wrong, I prayed to the moon goddess that there was a mix-up somewhere.
