‘ neck punch!” He fell out of the tree I was napping in. After a bout of heavy coughing and dramatic rolling in the grass. I’m met by a set of beautiful, but watery green eyes
“ I was just saying good morning, why!”
“so much drama! You startled me. Come on, it wasn’t that bad. Alpha woke me many morning with hard throat punch… I gave friend throat punch. No hurt bad' friend Jacob.”
Jacob looks at me like he was going to cry. “ gosh that sad!”
I met Jacob two nights ago while searching for a place to camp. He seemed super friendly and he was born rogue. He's a snake shifter. He’s two years younger than me. He said his intention was to rob me when I fell asleep, but he caught one look at Amber ‘s eyes and imprinted. So now I guess I’m stuck with him!
‘ I still think our pup is young enough to get over him. He’s not good enough for my pup. ‘ yeah! But I can’t hurt pack. No matter how much I want to snap his cute lil neck. I protect him now so he can protect her later.
“can I hold Amber please! I promise I’ll be super careful. Besides that I can tell your back is aching you could use a break, and you’ve been looking a little bit off lately and…‘shut up! I was gonna say okay but you gotta be quiet first! Now, pack up squish heart we need to find Grannies next fuel stash.

“Would you like to join us for dinner tonight, Alpha?”
“I can’t, Anna. I’ve got far too much to do. Something has changed, and we need to be prepared for it.”
“I’m sorry, let me rephrase the question. I expect you to be at my house at six for dinner.”
“Anna, I just said!”
‘ I fully understand what you just said! Believe it or not the entire pack can feel what your feeling! What you don’t understand is that I made Luna Elana Kingsley a best friends promise that I would care for you like one of my own whenever she couldn’t. So it’s gonna take more than you got to make me break that! Now if you like, I make that a doctor’s order as well, but I’ve noticed Alpha’s don’t like it when rank is pulled on them, so I’ll simply say, dinner is at six o’clock, not seven-thirty, not six-oh-five. Six o’clock sharp. It is now two forty-five, set your watches, gentlemen. I love you both, and I’ll see you soon! She turned on her heels and gracefully stormed out of the room on a mission. Both men were standing in silence.
“ damn she’s hot when she takes charge!”
“ Bartek please, don’t start with me!”
“ you might seriously have another enforcer by the end of today!”
“No! What I’ll have is a beta that has doubled patrol around the parameters of the pack by five thirty. What I have is best friend that’s lucky that his mate is my mates best friend, cause that conversation would normally end up with someone in hospital or worse.”
