Chapter1: Miracle

Miracle stood in front of her new apartment, staring at it as if it might disappear at any moment.

A smile slowly spread across her face.

After years of struggling, she had finally made it.

Life had never been easy for Miracle. She had been an orphan since the day she was born.

Her father had died, and her mother died while giving birth to her, leaving her in the care of her aunt.

For a while, things weren't so bad. Her aunt loved her and raised her as her own child. But tragedy struck again when Miracle was seventeen years old. Her aunt died in a car accident, and just like that, she was all alone.

No parents.

No family.

No one to depend on.

The only friend she had moved away during primary school after her father's promotion transferred their family to another town. They had promised to stay in touch, but as the years passed, life got in the way.

Since then, Miracle had faced life on her own. She had worked hard in school, often skipping meals just to save money for books and tuition. There were nights when instant noodles were all she could afford and mornings when she woke up wondering how she would survive another day. She worked while schooling, but she never gave up.

After graduating, she secured a job at a respected firm as an accountant and poured all her energy into building a better future.

And now, standing in front of the small apartment she could finally call her own, she felt every sacrifice had been worth it.

A cool breeze brushed against her skin, carrying away years of stress and worry.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

For the first time in a long while, she felt free.

With a smile, Miracle walked to the front door and unlocked it.

The apartment wasn't luxurious. It was small and simple, consisting of a bedroom, a sitting room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. But it was hers, and that was all that mattered.

She stepped inside and looked around, her heart swelling with pride.

After taking a quick shower, she climbed into bed, exhausted from the day's stress. She had unpacked her things a day before, and now the room was quiet and peaceful.

She pulled the blankets closer and smiled to herself.

"I love my life."

"I really, really love my life."

With that thought lingering in her mind, she drifted into a peaceful sleep, unaware that her life was about to change forever.
