"Killing them like this isn't necessary," I said. "You could have just done that later."
He laughed again. "But I want to do it now." He pointed his gun at the one on the end and pulled the trigger.
A collective shock ran through the room as the man fell. It took all in me not to shout at him at that moment. I could feel the fear radiating from my men. It was even worse that they were blindfolded, relying only on sound to know what was going on around them. And the sound was not encouraging at all.
Don pointed his gun at the next one, and I clenched my fist. "f**k you, Don. Just kill me already. Why are you wasting time?"
