I could swear that he was watching me. He probably thought that I didn't know, but it was apparent. I had seen the shadows move behind the door, and since there was nobody else in the house with me, I could tell that he was the one.
"What does he want now?" I asked myself internally, trying to figure out the matter. The chances were that he would try to keep me from leaving. Now that he was watching me like a hawk, that was the only reason he would come here. If he didn't care about it in the first place, then he would just let me go without coming even to say goodbye or anything like that.
