Two of the three days during her hospital stay had gone by relatively peaceful, the only people in and out of her room had been the nurses, and Nathan when he got off work each night. On the third day of her stay, shortly after Nathan had left to get ready for work, there came a knock on her door, thinking it was a new nurse, she told the person to come in.
