Here's Episode 2 of "Alpha's Half-Breed Mate" Episode 2: "The Alpha's Claim" Ava's mind reeled as she tried to process Ryder's words. Mate? What did he mean? She didn't know this werewolf, and she certainly didn't want to be his mate. But as she looked into Ryder's eyes, Ava felt a spark of attraction that she couldn't ignore. It was as if her body was responding to his presence, even if her mind was screaming in protest. Ryder took another step closer, his eyes burning with intensity. "You don't understand what's happening, do you?" he growled, his voice low and husky. "You're a half-breed, Ava. You have the scent of a werewolf, but you're not fully one of us." Ava's heart pounded in her chest. How did he know this? She had always kept her true nature a secret, even from her closest friends. "What do you want from me?" Ava demanded, trying to keep her voice steady. Ryder's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing. "I want you to come with me," he growled. "I want to take you to my pack and show you what it means to be a werewolf." Ava hesitated, unsure of what to do. Part of her was curious about Ryder's pack and the world of werewolves. But another part of her was terrified of getting involved with this powerful alpha. As she stood there, frozen with indecision, Ryder reached out and grasped her arm. His touch sent shivers down her spine, and Ava felt a surge of desire that she couldn't ignore. "Come with me," Ryder growled, his eyes burning with intensity. "I promise you'll be safe." Ava hesitated for a moment, then nodded her head. She didn't know what she was getting herself into, but she was willing to take the risk. As Ryder led her through the forest, Ava couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. She had always been drawn to the unknown, and the world of werewolves was certainly mysterious. But as they walked, Ava began to feel a sense of unease. Ryder seemed to be watching her every move, his eyes fixed intently on her. And the way he touched her arm, his fingers brushing against her skin, sent shivers down her spine. Ava didn't know what to make of these feelings. Part of her was attracted to Ryder's power and confidence. But another part of her was terrified of getting too close. As they approached the edge of the forest, Ava saw a clearing up ahead. In the center of the clearing stood a large stone house, surrounded by a pack of werewolves. Ryder led her towards the house, his eyes fixed intently on her. Ava could feel the weight of the pack's gaze upon her, and she began to feel a sense of unease. As they reached the house, Ryder pushed open the door and gestured for Ava to enter. She hesitated for a moment, then stepped inside. The house was warm and cozy, filled with the scent of wood smoke and baking bread. Ava's stomach growled as she caught the scent of food, and she realized that she was hungry. Ryder led her to a large kitchen, where a group of werewolves were gathered around a table. They looked up as Ava entered, their eyes fixed intently on her. Ava felt a surge of fear as she realized that she was surrounded by a pack of powerful werewolves. But Ryder's presence beside her seemed to calm her nerves, and she stood tall, meeting the gaze of the pack. As they ate, Ava began to feel a sense of belonging. The pack was warm and welcoming, and they seemed to accept her as one of their own. But as the night wore on, Ava began to realize that she was in grave danger. Ryder's pack was not just any ordinary pack - they were the most powerful pack in the country, and they would stop at nothing to protect their alpha. As Ava lay in bed that night, she couldn't help but wonder what she had gotten herself into. She was a half-breed, and she didn't belong in this world of powerful werewolves. But as she drifted off to sleep, Ava felt a sense of peace wash over her. She was exactly where she was meant to be - by Ryder's side. To be continued...
