My smile is warm. “I know. It’s rude of me. But I did learn from the master.” I shrug, knowing he’ll realize I’m referring to the dinner with my employees at Jameson’s that started this whole thing. He gazes at me in stone-faced silence for a moment, then snaps, “It’s just business.
