Kira let out a long breath as she stepped out of the manager's office.

Kira didn't feel comfortable with the idea of riding with him, she has known Kaleb for a while but something about him this evening made her feel weary.

She try to think of a way to turn him down without making him feel bad about it but couldn't think of anything.

Kaleb asked in a disappointed voice.

No, Kira said hurriedly, I mean it's not that I don't want to come with you, it's just that, she stopped thinking of what to say next, but her eyes caught sight of a familiar figure in a black Mercedes -Benz across the street.
