Chapter 2: shattered trust 2

1028 Words
The woman he had married three years ago.The woman who restored his trust in the relationship. She brought down his walls and showed him that it's okay to love. His life has been peaceful and full of joy since he met her. He had booked a luxurious restaurant for their date tonight. He wants to enjoy his dinner with her only without interruptions. “This is not Valeska’s number, why is an unknown number sending me a video of her dancing?” he thought to himself. His fingers tighten slowly around the phone. Then he saw it, legs crossed together. A man sat in the corner of the room, comfortable, watching her. His face hidden in the dark shadows of the room, the movement of his body show clearly that he is enjoying every bit of her pole dancing. Valeska circled the pole slowly, bending her body in ways that exposed every curve of her figure. Her arms stretched above her head. Her hips rolled slowly. She held the pole, raised her legs off the floor, moving around it like a snake. Betrayal stabbed his chest, anger, shock, disbelief slammed into him at once, his mind and body couldn't process the information and emotions that he was feeling. “I can't believe this, I have to calm down, valeska is not like that.” he said to himself hoping to believe it. The same woman who once told him, "I will only dance for you." The same woman who had laughed softly while promising "No other man will ever touch me." The same woman who had sworn. "You are the only one who will ever see my body." And yet here she is in red lingerie. Showing every inch of herself to another man. Sebastian's jaw clenched so tightly the muscles in his face began to ache. He was about to drop the phone when his hands mistakenly swipe to the last video, the sound from the video attracted his attention. This was where he finally lost every calmness he had in him, there were his wife's legs raised in the air, moaning so loud as the man slammed into her, c*m all over her and the wet bedsheets, her face glittering with sweat. “My body belongs to you now, Sebastian," he recalled.Sebastian couldn’t take it anymore. He paused the video. Silence filled the office. Heavy. At this moment everything was moving too fast He stared at the frozen image, her lips slightly parted. Her eyes were glowing under the dim red lights. He lifted his head from the phone and looked towards the picture on his table, it’s from their wedding, both of them smiling wide and happy. “Was this edited, is my enemy trying to get me through valeska” he questioned himself, but he knew deep down that was his wife. There was no mistake. He built a dancing room for her in the house, where only he could watch her. Now she is doing it for another man, his anger mounting. Sebastian inhaled slowly. Then exhaled. His chest rose and fell with controlled breathing as he tried to suppress the storm of emotions boiling inside him. But the anger refused to settle, spreading like wildfire, taking over his mind and reasonable thinking. Resentment clouds his thoughts. His hands trembled slightly as he walked towards the suit hanger. Sebastian grabbed his black suit coat from the hanger and slipped it on in one swift motion. His movements were calm. He walked out of the office with a made up mind. “I need answers. Now!” His employees typed rapidly on the keyboards while some carried reports and files, some stood up to greet him as he walked by without looking or responding to their greeting. He walked towards the elevator with a cold expression. Rowan, his assistant, joined him in the walk to the elevator, pressed the button for him as they got inside. “When are we going boss?” Rowan asked “Home” Sebastian replied without looking at Rowan. The tension in his voice made Rowan straighten instantly. “Yes, boss.” Rowan could feel the heat radiating off Sebastian, but he wisely kept quiet. When the elevator reached the underground parking garage, Rowan moved quickly toward the black luxury sedan waiting nearby. He opened the rear door. Sebastian slid into the back seat without speaking. Rowan got into the driver seat and drove out of the underground garage onto the road leading home. The ride was quiet, unlike them.Rowan kept both hands on the steering wheel, his focus on the road. He is trying to focus on the road but every now and then…He glanced at the rearview mirror. He wanted to talk, but he can sense that that's not the right time. Sebastian sat in the back seat with an unreadable expression on his face, his left leg moving rapidly as he tried to compose himself, hoping that everything he saw was a lie. Rowan had worked with Sebastian the moment he resumed as the CEO. They started with fights and it was pretty rough as they are both first timers in their position. They fought through it, stuck together and got the company to the place where it is at the moment. It's the most popular engineering company at the moment. Rowan has known his boss as a calm and cool headed man that handles both gentle and stubborn clients. But now Sebastian looked like someone that's about to explode. Rowan knew better than to ask questions, Sebastian needs more silence than any question right now. The black car swerved into the driveway. Rowan packed it at the front door. Sebastian got down from the car before Rowan could get down and open the door for him “Nobody is allowed to come in until I'm out” Sebastian gave an order to Rowan and the guards at the door. “Yes boss” Sebastian walked in, talking off his suit coat and losing his tie. “Who got on his nerves this time? Rowan thought as he walked to sit on the patio at the other side of the house
