ALONE

Christine was standing on the window of her room looking outside in a daze in her hand she was holding the necklase that Daryl gave to her. She held it everyday and sometimes she was just staring at it, reminiscing the last words that they said to each other before his departure. Daryl went to her house the day before his departure and gave her this necklace and said that she should wait for him, because the moment he finish his studies he will fly back to her.Days have passed and days became years, she is alone in the world she might have a loving mother and a father who is willing to sacrifice everything for her, but she cannot open what she feels to them, it might get awkward. Adolescence sucks and that is the reality she is a very lucky person since she have a boyfriend and a parents who love her dearly but at the back of her mind she is still worried to someone, someone who like her and love her from the very beginning, since the moment that she saved him from the accident he loves her but do not want to make things become complicated between the three of them so the moment Daryl left Daniel also left her, but before he left he confess his feelings towards her, she miss him dearly she feel lost because she lost both men who are important in her life. Time has passed Daryl visits her as often as he could but one day when she was walking, to go home she saw her aunty Michelle who was kissed by an old rich man on her cheeks and the old man was touching her aunty michelle sexually, she saw the discomfort in her eyes but but she cannot do anything about them, she doesn't know who this man is, this is definitely not Daryl’s father. She saw that the old man was whispering something to Michelle and she have to admit that she was curious but she does not want to show it, she was only curious because she is worried about her, her husband is suffering to a cancer disease and the medication also the treatment must cost a fortune and not to mention Daryl is studying abroad all his expenses was paid by his parents.

She waited for a moment and let the old man leave before she came to Michelle and she called her, “Aunty” she yelled happily while waving her hand to her for Michelle to be able to see her. Michelle saw her and do not now what to do, she felt sick for all the things that she has done but she must remember what the reason is, afterall she was doing this for her family, no matter how dirty she think she is doing no matter what other people will say she must remind herself that her family must come first before other people judgment. But this kid is different. She is innocent and does not care what other people will say, this girl is like her daughter since her son is out of the country. This kid became her sunshine, Christine always looks after them and sometimes acts like her daughter in law even though they are still in college, but after what she saw today she doesn't know what Christine is thinking about her, she must be disgusted because even though she is waving at her right now she already know that Christine is saw everything including the kiss and how that old geezer touched her.

Christine ran to her and hugged her tightly and asked in a worried tone of her voice, “Aunty are you okay? Are you hurt? Did that old man hurt you” Christine held her hands tightly and when she looked into her eyes she saw the sincerity to them, she saw that this girl is really worried about her.
