Elena's POV
“Are you showing me the secret of the waterfall this morning?” I asked, trying to be excited for once.
Scylla had worsened the bad dreams as if she were punishing me for doing something wrong.
It was like she was taking revenge on me mentally.
I sighed.
I wish this was over.
I wanted my life back. I wish everything could just go back to normal.
Scylla moved inside my head, yet she refused to talk to me. She has been silent most of the time, but I could feel her anger and frustration.
“It all depends on the weather,” Aaron said absent-mindedly.
Was he worried about something? Did he know something and not want to share it? Could you sense her?
"The weather looks fine to me," I said, looking out the window. “Let’s go?”
“What’s the rush?” Aaron asks.
