I had followed Elena and Leo to Scylla’s island, shifting into my beast form and running with the waves.
I knew Leo would have brought her here. He has been there many times, and he has changed his looks over the years.
I walked out of the water and shifted back into my human form.
The sand burned under my feet, yet I ignored the feeling; I welcomed it.
I headed north, heading toward the cave that was close to the clearing where Elena would descend.
