Chapter 26

1509 Words

Aaron POV I couldn't get Elena out of my mind, and I had stayed close to the cabin where she stayed. I watched as Leo and Elena yelled at one another, and anger pushed up in me. I felt urged to strangle Leo there and then. I calmly shifted into my beast, following Elena. There wasn't much that could hurt her on the island, but she still could get hurt if she stumbled while she ran and cried. My mind raced back to our last meeting. I had shown her the way back to the cabin. She wasn't too pleased to be back. We chatted along the way, and I told her about Scylla—her hopes, her dreams, and the adventures she planned to have one day. Elena was not much different from the one I loved. Her likes and dislikes were very similar, if not spot-on. It was just that Elena was making me nervous.
