I have given in to letting Elena have her way. I was afraid that she would run off in the middle of the night.
At least there were now two who could look after her while she tried to find herself.
I had never personally met Aaron before, but I knew of his existence.
I was jealous of the love he and Scylla once shared.
I sighed and shook my head. I had hoped that this love between them would have passed, but now it seems that it has grown even stronger.
My thoughts wandered back to the day Scylla told me of Aaron, her first and only love.
“My dear brother." Scylla's words filled my surroundings as I entered the cave. She was sitting by the fireplace, reading an unknown novel. "You have returned from your trip.”
“My dearest sister," I said, "it is wonderful to see you.”
