The gardens are peaceful and quiet. I like it. I much prefer it this way. Perhaps if my new owner would allow it, I can take my walks at night instead of during the day.
Today, when I wandered around, I came across dozens of wolves who live and work here. A lot of them stopped and tried to question me, wanted to know where I came from, but I had no answers for them and decided it would be better to avoid them.
I didn’t want any of them to know that I was just an unwanted, discarded orphan.
The Alpha doesn’t say a word as we walk along the neat cobbled paths. He seems relaxed, comfortable, with the quiet between us. It makes me feel a little squirrelly, but there's not much I can do about it.
