Chapter 8Alex wearily climbed the stairs to his office, scanned over new correspondence then made his way into the meeting area of the general office.
To his delight, he was greeted with enthusiasm. His team stood to give him a round of applause accompanied by hearty backslaps and handshakes.
“Congratulations, Boss,” Phil announced, being first to welcome him in. Two, large pink, celebratory balloons, each stating baby girl, inflated with helium, were hovering below the ceiling.
