ROMAN’S POV
Roman’s heart thumped hard against his chest, fear clawing at his heart.
Silence ensued, as everyone pondered on the man’s words.
What did he mean by eradicate? Roman thought, his eyes glancing around.
That’s enough the council leader boomed, his voice ringing out throughout the room.
He stared, the man with the mustache down, daring him to utter another word.
The man glared at Emily, before sitting back down.
The council leader called on a man, who Roman recognized as the doctor that had treated Emily.

“Doctor Rose, can you please tell us what you have found out, about the liquid being injected into Emily.”
