Cheater!

Aria sat quietly in the front seat of the car, Devon was driving. she never expected to see him show up here, and like before he arrived just in time to save her from Pete. her hands were covered in red bruises that where caused because of how hard she struggled from his hold. what happened left her shaken it made her feel vulnerable and weak, it was sickening how men can use their strength and take advantage of girls whenever they wanted

she looked over at Devon and saw how the veins on his hands where showing because of how tightly he was holding the steering wheel with his eyes looking straight ahead. Aria could feel it that he was angry and his silence was scaring her . he shifted the gear and changed the speed of the car. he started driving faster. She looked through the window and saw how fast the car was moving seeing things brush past her eyes made her feel nauseated and made her stomach turn, there was another car following behind them that had his body guards in it and just like Devon it also started moving fast.

he accelerated the car again, she was not wearing her seat belt the fast movements made he lean forward almost hitting the dashboard of the car. he looked at her once and returned his eyes on the road this time he slowed down a little but he still did not say a word to her . Aria pulled the seat belt on her, she also did not say anything to him. even though he came and saved her , she did not want to see him. since she saw him with another woman. a part of her was angry at him. for making her wait and bringing her to that event, if he was only going to spend the entire time with his girlfriend or mistress or whatever it is that woman was to him, he should have told her he was going to be with his lover instead. she wouldn't have waited for him for so long.

another part of her was angry at herself, she was angry because she hated how it made her feel when he let go of her hand and kissed that woman, she hated how seeing his eyes made her feel when she walked in on him and his lover. Aria did not care that he was angry anymore she breathed deeply and leaned back in her seat. if he wanted to drive this car really fast until it starts flying or disappears into oblivion he can do it. she did not care anymore.

her silence was making him more angry. the fact that she did apologize for making him search for her like that. if he had not showed up on time who knew what that stupid man would have done to her. Devon could not fight the fact that he was worried about her. she put herself in danger because of her stupidness.

he could not get the words that man said to him out of his ears . when he investigated Aria, he saw she had an incident that occurred back on the night of her prom. Devon did not know what caused it or why it happened. he thought it was not important he only wanted to know important details about her.

if she did not let any man touch her then why him. why did she choose him what reason made her decide to give her consent to him that night when she never let the man she was with even touch her He needed to find out.

the car stopped at the building. immediately the engine stopped he opened the door and banged it loudly. Devon went to instruct his security men

Aria also got out of the car and headed straight to the pent house.

"why the hell did you leave!!! " he burst open the bedroom door and shut it behind.

Aria was startled she did not think he would follow her inside. she thought he left again.

"Answer me Aria!!!!" she could see the anger in his eyes again. when he started walking towards her she jumped on top of the bed and stood there.

"Get Down from there!!!" he roared again but Aria did not. she just starred at him.

"i said get down from there!!!"

"No!!!" she shook her head.

"Aria!!!"

"Devon!!!" she yelled back at him as she clenched her fists tightly. Aria was just as mad as he was he did not have any right to question her.

"why did you leave the museum. do you have any idea how much time i spent looking for you!!" why was he looking for her.

"who asked you to look for me..?" she raised her head and questioned him.

"don't be stupid.. if you wanted to go home why didn't you tell me or wait for me!"

was he serious right now. how long did she wait while he was having the time of his life.

"Mr Presley i did not want to disturb your precious time with your lover!!!" Aria hated how she sounded like a jealous wife right now.

"and besides you said i can do whatever i want as long as it does not affect your reputation.... did me leaving affect your reputation"

she said and took another step back.

"listen to me Aria and listen very carefully i am warning you don't ever make such a stupid mistake of going anywhere without supervision.. you have no idea what kind of danger you might be getting yourself into!!!" he was still roaring at her .

"and why do you care if i am in danger... you hate me right so why the hell do you care!!!" Aria used the same tone in speaking he used on her .

"i don't care what happens to you.. you can go and jump off a f*****g bridge if you want.. but as long as you still carry my child!!! as long as you are still my wife!! whether you like or not you are not to go anywhere without supervision... if i go anywhere with you don't leave without me you get that!!!"

"oh so am just supposed to sit around and wait while you lock yourself in a room and do whatever the hell you want with that stupid bimbo ???"

"if you like her so much why don't you take her instead of me then the stupid paparazzi can take stupid pictures of the perfect couple you two are!!!"

"Shut up and stop talking nonsense .. why are you behaving like a jealous lunatic... why does it matter to you if i have a lover or not... you and i have nothing between us you get that!!!"

"i am not jealous!! why would i be jealous you mean nothing to me you can have the entire girls in this country as your lovers i wouldn't care i hate you just as much as you hate me!!!"

Aria and Devon had never had a normal conversation with one another, they never greeted each other and they never knew each other very well , they also never treated each other as husband and wife but they where arguing like people that have been married for a long time. both of them were venting out their anger on each other . Aria did not know where all these words she was saying where coming from and she did not know why Devon was angry. why would he be this mad if he did not even like her. she could feel his anger was more rooted. or maybe he did just hate her.

"Enough!! .. don't make me lose my patience .. i will Not tolerate this ... don't forget your place.. you have no idea what i am capable of don't push me!!!"

Was he threatening her again. this man was truly nothing but a devil when it came to her. he walked out of the room and shut the door again. she could not believe he left again just like that.

"Cheater!!" she grit her teeth and said out loud what she was thinking. Aria took a pillow and threw it at the closed door, she was beyond upset. she dropped on the bed and pulled the covers over her. her heart was beating loudly and her body was exhausted.

Devon heard what Aria said when he closed the door 'cheater' it surprised him she said that. even if she did not say it to his face he still couldn't believe she would consider him a cheater. or maybe she said those words out of frustration. he couldn't help but notice how she kept on mentioning the word 'lover'.

Evie's words came back to him. ' the poor girl must have left feeling jealous' was that the reason Aria left yesterday because she got jealous. she was acting jealous just now. Devon did not know what to think of this . she was confusing him by the day, she just made him lose his temper and it was still morning .

"Aria.. "

Natasha opened the door of Aria's bedroom. she had brought with her a tray of food and some oil medicine, her boss told her to give her something for her bruises before he left. she was in the kitchen but she could hear the couple arguing.

"i brought you some food. and this oil-"

"thank you Natasha ....but am not hungry.." Aria still had her head buried in the covers.

"you need to eat ..Its not good for the baby if you do not" Natasha sat on the bed. she wanted to say something to comfort her however doing so would make her meddle in her boss's life and no matter how nice Aria was, she was still the wife of Mr Presley.

"ill leave everything here in case you need them" Natasha got up and left the room. Aria still remained in bed.

the doctor called her later that day to inform her about the test results. he did not call Devon instead he called the house phone which Aria was really grateful for. she asked him not to tell Devon and later planned to meet up with him. It was not going to be at the hospital. she wore her usual disguise and left the house.

"Gabriel.. i need to meet up with someone but i want you to keep it a secret.... please don't tell Mr Presley. "

he was silent for some time, still he agreed.

Aria planned to meet up with the doctor at a café .

"first of all .. i do not agree on hiding this from Mr Devon.. he has every right to know." the doctor placed his hands on the table and spoke to Aria sternly.

"please you have to promise me you won't tell him..no one should know about this ...its my choice and you have to keep this confidential" Aria begged.

the doctor just explained what he found in the blood test and it was the most unexpected thing that has ever happened to her. her eyes where teary but she did not cry. this was not the time to cry she knew she needed to be strong.

"I don't know if i can promise you that this is about-"

"please!!!! you have too. as long as am still pregnant you have to keep this a secret... you can tell him everything once the child is born....

and remember doctor, do everything i tell you.. i have never been more certain..."

the doctor sighed and looked at the table. this was a big risk he would be taking, he had been a doctor for Devon for years and he was loyal to him keeping something like this from Devon would cost him his license, He knew Devon was not a forgiving man, he can destroy his entire career if he chose to do this.

"please doctor... i am begging you.. this is a one time thing for me.. this means everything to me please!!!" Aria pleaded with the doctor with her hands together. who knew what Devon would do if he found out about this. it would change everything and so much has happened Aria was not ready for that change. no matter what happens this needed to remain between the two of them.

"Okay... but if things get to a point where i cannot handle them.... ill have to tell him"

"of course.!" she looked down at the table her eyes glistering with unshed tears.
