Devon went downstairs to sleep on the sofa. it was better for him.
There was a sound that made her wake up and sit up . he was there looking at her smiling. he got on the bed and kissed her on her cheek.
"happy birthday wife!" the sound was still going, she looked at the large window , that's were it was coming from. it was a strange sound, but also nice. she looked at him and back at the window .
"you like it?" he asked.
"do you want to see it?"
he did not wait, he knew she wont answer, her face was still the same. Devon helped her out of bed , he saw she was still wearing his shirt. he still covered her with a bed sheet and walked with her out of the bedroom.
on the walls by the floor, Red Roses placed lined up all the way down the stair case..on every corner..
