Author's Note/Background Information

Hello,

Author here, I started this book back in 2016 and promptly forgot about it. Now I'm rewriting it to fit how my writing style has changed. This is rated PG-13 due to some language, but I will try to censor it. I do not plan to have any smut scenes (at the moment), but if they occur I'll put a chapter warning at the beginning of the chapter and before the scene begins.

This is my first fantasy novel so please feel free to leave some feedback. Good OR bad, any and all feedback helps. If you ship someone, let me know. Think the conversation was dry? Tell me! If you liked or hated a particular scene/line? Feel free to say so!

I do not describe the characters, there are pictures on the w*****d version, but I will try to add descriptions here. I will not spend too much time describing settings, but will give enough information for you, the reader, to visualize it as you see fit. I will be switching POV and will label each chapter with whose POV it is. I will also try to adapt my writing style to fit each character's narrative.

I know how other wolf novels have been written and do not plan to copy every recurring element. These wolves will not have an "inner wolf" that talks to them as a separate part of themselves. They do have mates, both of them need to be 18 for them to realize it. They can get their wolf the moment they start puberty and some get them as late as 18. Wolves are weak to wolfsbane, but in most cases it's not a death sentence. They can build a resistance to the substance. Some wolves may have powers, gifted to them by the Moon Goddess.

Hunters are human, and have normal human weaknesses. Their strength is that they've trained. Some can learn magic, but are still very human.
