To Surpass Dao Chapter 22: Becoming a fisherman

Moving in the forest, they had covered half the distance, and since Luo Ping thought it best to explore slowly they just kept attracting some beasts that ended up being killed for being stupid and even the bird types also seemed to reach a very high number. 

The more they moved the higher the trees and the energy in the forest seemed to increase. The light seemed to be blocked off by the huge trees making the environment in the most inner parts seem somehow dull. The couple just sat down and began making preparations for some roasted meat. The action seemed just like provoking the beasts. 

“Yao cut a branch from the tree. Make sure it is properly positioned on the ground for some barbecue.” Removing some bird that just died some hours ago he removed its gigantic feathers and used some spirit herbs, salt, and even oil to marinate it then covered it with some leaves then Mud. After making sure the layer of mud had reached a satisfactory level he set up the fire by pilling most wood in and once it had reached a considerable height he placed the mud-covered chicken on top and kept piling more wood on top. 

The fore seemed to be burning around the chicken, and Yao found it very interesting to cook like that. Baoza was also set up for a barbecue and some animals got skinned before being set for roasting and in the process, spices got added. The aroma kept spreading and as time passed some eyes could be seen looking at the dish hungrily. Luo Ping spread some phoenix prestige using blood energy and all the creatures in the region knelt down and once he withdrew they ran away so fast. 

They thought some strong beast in the forest might have approached so they hurriedly run afraid. The meal become ready in some hours before everything got devoured and they headed straight to the lake. The distance this time seemed deserted so they moved faster and in some minutes arrived. 

In the Center of the forest seemed to exist some creatures with strong bloodlines but those like dragons and Phoenix in the God realm seemed to have their clans thus not in the forest. Luo Ping kept observing and there seemed to be other strong ones in the lake. “ Yaoer this lake seems to have a large variety of fish, eating some could be very interesting. “ He took out a huge chair and sat on it before taking out a hook and throwing it into the water. 

Based on his experience from novels there always existed some twisted beasts even in the lake that might decide to bite on a hook without the bait. Looking around, he said, “ Take care of those coming our way and collect those that might seem useful for food” Yao seemed excited and the beasts become angry since they could also be considered intelligent and seeing how the little girl looked at them as prey.

Ignoring those that kept their distance she just kept collecting them in her storage space after some slaps to death. In the end, they feared approaching the little devil that seemed very excited. 

The others run off while others kept hiding in the distance to watch an interesting show. The weirdest thing being the humans had no fluctuations of cultivation. They seemed more like mortals but they slapped others to death. “ Don’t bully others too far humans” is probably the only thought that existed on their mids. 

Just like that, they kept paying attention since the lake had some scary existences and the human seemed relaxed and eventually, something happened, he pulled some big fish out. Yaoer didn’t I tell you that some fish are stupid just biting on a hook without the bait. Look at an example” He exclaimed as he observed the fish before smiling seemingly happy. 

The other beasts almost believed the human’s words but looking at the colossal they wondered how things could turn out. He just dragged it out and slapped it across the void, the fluctuations seemed controlled to the minimum only to kill it not destroy the meat before storing it and throwing the hook again.

Some beasts seemed to be complaining about the problem with the two devils that refused to give dignity even to some strong beasts. Just slapping non-stop, they could at least pretend to go all out. 

Once the process is repeated some times another beast in the lake seemed angry and jumped out screaming, Luo Ping observed it and ignored it saying, “ You are not tasty. Go back.” The power from the words scared it and it run off diving to avoid any unnecessary troubles. 

In the evening once they had enough stock he pulled his hand and some beast that looked like a tailed wolf seemed to be attracted so he asked, “  Is there any region in the forest that grains grow”. Taking out different varieties he showed it and asked and indeed it exists but that is in the grassland region. He tossed it a pill before they headed in the direction. The wolf still dazed took it into its mouth as a natural response without thinking. The energy started to fluctuate from its body as bloodline evolved and in some minutes it had an extra two tails. The wolf ran off to hide since it understood the power of that pill and the benefits to its bloodline. 

Moving across the forest to the grasslands they managed to see wheat and even blood rice. They collected it in the storage before leaving and heading for human cities. 

Luo Ping needed to obtain information on the dragon clan and the most probable locations seemed to place people met up and discussed gossips. Before that he put some bests body and their cores in the storage rings he deemed low quality and headed to a commerce center that seemed to have some reputation. Both seemed to attract less attention so they headed and once they said they had a business, they threw the space ring to the person that talked to them before he went ahead and brought a manager.
