To Surpass Dao chapter 27 : Inside Dragon Clan

Arriving at the dragon clan, Luo Ping looked around and indeed he was amazed. The level of spirit energy that had accumulated in the place seemed too excessive. 

"Indeed. It fits the scenery of a top demon clan. Other than the spirit energy abundance the auras present indicate that this clan seems to have more than twenty God monarchs and five seem to be at early god-king. The other strong God kings seem to be about nine and from them, two seem to be at close to the peak." 

Entering the Dao realm required more than just reliance on bloodline talent. The more Luo Ping analyzed the situation in the dragon clan, he understood that clans in the beast domain had strong existences. 

Not that he cared, requirements for entering higher realms were tough and even to ascend to the heavenly realm. Based on his guess, perhaps someone at half-step Dao body realm could attempt it. 

In such a case, even the dragon clan’s strong physique could not offer much assistance. The pressure and environment that allowed for ascension were very tough. 

Though not a chaotic barrier, the barrier blocking entry to the higher realms required someone to have strength surpassing the world itself. 

In the current dragon clan, even the peak godking needed to rely on high-level treasures to ascend and that is if they even had their hands on any. 

The situation in the higher realm might also be very unfavorable for a newcomer since stronger individuals are present there. 

Having been dependent on the family for obtaining resources and protection to cultivate and grow might make life more miserable once ascended. 

Then the situation in such clans offered them the capital to look down on everyone especially humans. 

A middle-aged man with a handsome appearance and smooth skin could be seen standing out there nervously observing the elders arrive. 

Looking at the man’s appearance he had some resemblance to Yao but the most important thing was that their blood relation. 

He could detect such a thing since he had also a higher level of dragon blood than anyone around. 

The man hurriedly came out from the formation and seemed excited so he run towards Yao but she seemed to have no memory of him.

Luo Ping also appeared and she run from the elders standing next to him. He looked around and the elders seemed to have become hostile from the looks they were giving.

“How dare you come in the dragon clan ant?” The youth in the god monarch realm seemed angered that an ant came to their place. He however was ignored as Luo Ping seemed to be looking for something. 

The elders also become angry and start rumbling, the patriarch who is also Yao’s father raised his hand to stop them from continuing.

Without anyone noticing Luo Ping set up an array with a thought surrounding the entire clan, then locked in several locations before pulling and space seemed to have distorted. 

Several elders in the god monarch realm pulled from the clan and fell on the ground. 

“Young man who are you and…” The patriarch that had yet to finish speaking seemed to be confused about where the elders came from. 

Luo Ping asked the patriarch, “ Are you the patriarch of the dragon clan?” 

The man nodded and before he could speak Luo Ping added, “ What is wrong with your dragon bloodline that you seemed to have mixed it, no to be specific this is not mixing blood. The blood seems to have even started turning black and their souls already have changed.”

“Look at these, they have the most effect. Everyone else in this place also seems to have the same situation without exceptions. Most though seem to have not yet become overrun from it.” Luo Ping continued and everyone become angry. 

The patriarch seemed very calm and since he had to get his daughter he just treated Luo Ping politely and asked, “Where is your proof?”

Smiling, Luo Ping said, “ Oooh I almost forgot to tell you why I came here. These individuals attacked us immediately once we came into the beast domain, so we decided to capture them and ask if your clan sent them.”

Waving his hand several elders fell to the ground and they seemed encased in ice unable to leave but the most important thing is that some black substance seemed to have coagulated over their bodies seemingly trying to fight the cold.

The only problem is they seemed to freeze before another layer formed. Looking at it everyone was shocked. 

The people all captured seemed to have a very close relationship and even the region they cultivate is the same. 

Using some of the chaotic ice energy in his body he froze everyone including the patriarch and they experience the worst chill ever. 

For them, it took less time since the chaotic energy in the chill seemed to be infused with some devouring law. 

All the black substances from their souls to their bodies become expelled. But everybody remembered that feeling of not having the ability to retaliate and somehow become scared of Luo Ping.

He pointed at those on the ground and asked, “ Do you know how they are related?”

An elder that had recovered instead of answering asked, “ What is this thing? How come none of us noticed it?”

Luo Ping said, “Perhaps if they kept a low profile instead of attacking us they might have had some long life. Now they should just pay for it.”

Speaking like that the entire clan temperature suddenly dropped and to everyone’s shock, it seemed to have come from Yao. 

She then looked at Luo Ping and said, “ Husband is wasting time to deal with things slowly. I’m hungry.” Rubbing her head he just shook his head and smiled. 

That address from Yao however confused some elders that seemed to want to cry. 

Grade eight bloodline is something very beneficial to the clan, marrying an outsider seemed to have hurt them.

“Why does everyone seem like they want to cry?” as he asked he retraced the ice domain by Yao and everyone in the clan except for those lying had a very refreshing feeling.

Though the ice lotus chaotic energy just stayed out of their bodies and did not invade, once the black substance was absorbed most started to feel even their breakthroughs close. 

Nobody answered him but the Patriarch came forward thanked him and invited him inside to chat.

Luo Ping asked him about the elders that had passed out since their problem had been solved they could wake up probably in a month. After examining them everyone relaxed. 

Seeing Luo Ping raise the question again someone decided to answer. “ They all cultivate in the hall of tribulation”

Luo Ping become interested and said, “ What a nice name. Is the lighting in that place all the time or something more interesting?”

The patriarch said, “ It is a high-temperature environment obtained by the ancestor once in his expedition. This elder managed to get the opportunity to stay there for three years.”

“Have you and everyone in your clan gone in there in the past three years then?” 

He asked the patriarch and he just shook his head before saying, “ Contribution to enter the place is not easy, so it is impossible for everyone to enter.”

“Can I enter and observe the place?” Asking the patriarch Luo Ping seemed to be stroking the impatient Yao’s hand before he removed some fruit he had planted in the artifact giving it to her. 

Biting the fruit she seemed happy and the fragrance that came out seemed comparable to a high-level pill in the God Realm but some girl seemed to be chewing it like beans before receiving another. 

The elders seemed to want to protest at this moment. On the other side where the old ancestors had secluded themselves, they woke up immediately once their bodies were frozen and become shocked at the black substance. 

Once Luo Ping raised the request, a voice entered the patriarch’s ear telling him to allow it. 

“You can visit the independent space but you have to be careful..” 

The moment the patriarch offered permission Luo Ping looked at Yao and said, “Talk to your dad, he seems to have his difficulties. I’m going to collect some debts from that i***t that dared to scheme against you.”

He then disappeared before the patriarch could even take him to the place. “Where did he go?” 

The patriarch seemed confused only to see Yao’s eyes turned yellow and it looked like arrays moved in them before she said, “ Husband has entered that place the black things came from. I wonder if that creature is going to be tasty. It is so big, I can eat meat until happy.”

“Hee.. how long have you been married” the patriarch had been curious. “ She looked at him and said, “ When we were inner disciples in the sect. Probably about three hundred years ago.”

The patriarch become shocked and Yao said, “ Husband said time in the God Realm seemed to be very slow.”

The two talked and the more she talked to him she felt close so they went to the patriarch’s place and the cooked food she was given she threw it out after tasting before lamenting.
