To Surpass Dao chapter 7: Strange Object

He ignored it since he was too weak and decided to check it out. On the system, there seemed to be an object that looked rather peculiar and had some inscriptions on it. He checked out the object and the name as well as the description and became very excited. The object could be considered an evil object if the outside world becomes aware of it. At the same time, everyone could kill him to obtain the object since it seemed like a cultivation cheat.

He studied formations for a long time every time in his schedule as well as alchemy and his level seemed to have reached a high enough level but it seems time to upgrade before having any ideas on the object. Daily other than running, he practiced formations and alchemists. The more he observed the object after evolving his formations level the more he discovered he had yet to reach a high level. 

The object seemed similar to something he had read in a novel as it could destroy people’s souls and be used to increase the owner’s soul power and comprehension from the destroyed soul. He could see that it seemed to have been an organ that turned into some sort of artifact. The system also deemed it a damaged thing so he had to try studying formations to understand how such an object was created and even make an improved version of it. He needed to improve the level of formations, alchemy, and consciousness level. 

The breakthrough in consciousness could help improve physical body cultivation through energy absorbed. The star level still depended on energy to improve the realm and thus the issues of foundation problems were absent. He only had to pay much attention once he started comprehending laws.

Luo Ping occasionally observed the object and the experience points the system offered for selling. He had to sell it but only after gaining an understanding of the formations engraved on it. 

He then kept moving towards the central region of the waterfall, in the process of improving consciousness once the impact became less useful. He had many ideas on how to develop consciousness but put them aside, they could offer no real value but instead hinder future development. He had reached the fourth level star traveler in body and consciousness. He assumed that before he reached the age of sixteen he could have entered the peak of the star traveler realm. 

The system also had yet to offer him any beneficial tasks that could benefit him with spirit pills so he just hunted beasts from time to time to raise experience points and improve cultivation. The pills he refined had reached a high level but materials and other things had seen in novels stopped him from using them yet. Toxicity from pills could impact his flawless body after cultivating body tempering and getting rid of impurities. 

He also had a plan to obtain the blood of the top-ranking beasts and fuse then start using the system to improve it to the highest level. Once he obtained even one he could use pills nonetheless. Luo Ping’s concerns were true but he forgot about the existence of the system that could convert pills to exp to improve his strength. 

The more he moved the more his cultivation became solid and realm increased. He used another three months to reach the seventh level and thought about comprehending a domain. It could improve his strength to a whole new level. The more domains he could muster up the higher the strength increase and thus decided to change the approach.

He needed to start worrying about techniques and also issues of willpower, as his increase in levels of willpower could give birth to a domain. Luo Ping remembered the concept of willpower, he then looked at the strange object and thought, “ Three levels of willpower, what level could I be ranked at currently. Probably not even the first so I should start training it too. The most practical domain can be derived from laws but, I have yet to grasp any so this object ought to have little use. “All these years alone in the wild, could I still manage to communicate with people once I get out? Forget it, it is important to get strong and a domain can help restrain some of the beasts for me to escape. Most importantly to have a way of disguising my aura or completely hiding it. Maybe even change it to that of a different individual to avoid getting in a dangerous situation in the future or in case doing something that is deemed secret.” Luo Ping decided to create some techniques since he had been missing important practice to include on his schedule.

 He kept moving until he could eventually feel getting closer to a cave that always gave him a bad feeling and the reason for beasts avoiding this region. He also assumed that a monster could have once lived in the cave, the type he lacked any idea and since the time he had suffered from the beast hiding its strength, he could see through such things from a skill from the system that had been improved to a high level.

The cave presented no sign of a monster being present but the pressure seemed to still exist, he imagined it could have been so strong. He kept moving and completing all tasks he had to do from creating techniques, cultivating, sharpening willpower, and other issues. He had fewer worries about willpower improvement only by getting it to appear on the system and he could improve it. The most important issue being a catalyst to give birth to willpower, and then cultivating it could be very simple. 

The cave seemed capable of offering the necessary coercion and before that, he kept his schedule and killed more monsters whose strength had surpassed him, collected some for meat, and absorbed the rest. He then resumed the process and increased strength.
