To Surpass Dao chapter 20: Returning to the Ice ocean Island and closing up

Once all treasures were gathered, the ice region seemed more suitable since even the strongest humans avoided it. An island could be seen once Luo Ping killed the ice wolf. Due to the extremely low temperatures, the place could be used by them for even hundreds of years without any worries. 

Luo Ping organized everything and they managed to use a space tunnel to return to the region immediately before moving towards the island. They also set up a formation around their house and Luo Ping pulled the ice lotus out and left it at the corner in the house. The freezing effect was controlled by the formation so that it only filled the room. 

Luo Ping had already created a technique in the past to absorb any type of energy and he planned to absorb the ice energy and use it for refining the bones. Once everything became set up he asked Yao if she was willing and she agreed immediately so they started absorbing the ice energy that seemed to corrode any vital energy their blood had and even tried to freeze it. The cultivation technique managed to control the energy until it reached the bones and entered them before resulting in creaking sounds. The more energy consumed the higher the quality and the bones become deformed before eventually cracking and then turning to powder. 

Consuming some leaves of the vitality plant managed to restore the blood energy but once again the process continued and they used bone refining and blood refining techniques consecutively. In the process, the blood managed to evolve slowly, to something new. The ice energy kept being absorbed and refine blood and bones. The process increased and they shortened the distance with the ice plant and the difficulty also seemed to start again but they stopped taking the vitality plant since they used the ice energy in blood refinement. 

Converting such violent energy into their blood energy seemed to be the main idea and since both had high willpower and desire to improve their strength they held on. The distance kept reducing and the process repeats itself, and eventually, their blood started to change to something new. The bones also contained some element of coldness once reformed. Over the course of a year they had yet to cover even an eighth of the distance yet they felt pain but the benefits could clearly be felt. 

Luo Ping used all three bloodlines in the process of refinement to get better outcomes and it also made the pain more than that experienced by Yao. Blood refinement continued and the bones became crushed to powder in a repeated fashion and in another thirty years, one-third of the distance had been covered. The energy pulsating in their blood becomes more intimidating, that however changed nothing since they kept enduring the torture and every time the bones reformed and blood refined they could expel excessive filth and due to their cultivation, they expelled it. 

The process of bone and blood refinement continued and every time bits of bones and blood were expelled only the pure remained. The situation continued until their blood had some blue hue that seemed crystalline. Over time it continued to change facing each regiment and purity of the bones increased it looked more like jade than glass. The ice energy kept improving them and in hundred years they had covered seventh of an eight. 

The blood in their body had almost expelled all impurities and turned even golden at some point before appearing even redder. The red gave off a different feeling and their bone marrow had also been destroyed and recreated in the process. It once released golden blood that had very high energy. Currently, the new red seems destructive rather than terrifying. The energy contained in the blood has reached a whole new realm and based on Luo Peng’s observation from the system they soon might start counting their blood from level 1. The grade however seems to have moved higher. 

The previous advantages they had obtained due to bloodline had become more pronounced. The process continued for another hundred and fifty years and at that point, they both held on to the ice chaotic lotus to receive direct energy into their body. They had crossed the threshold and the moment their bodies stopped feeling any discomfort from the process they stopped. The bones become reformed and resembled glass where laws had been fused the same for blood. 

The process of refinement also perfected all the laws that had been fused in their blood, flesh, and bones. The skin seemed too angelic and even they couldn’t stop themselves from touching each other and in the end resulted in some intimate activities that lasted several months. The reason they stopped being the hunger they felt. 

Both had an aura about them that nobody would dare try anything especially the opposite genders. Looking at Yao any female could just shrink her vixen self and avoid trying to move on to her man. The same for Luo Peng, that feeling seemed to radiate from the soul. It could give anyone a chill, and their bones also had that sort of sharpness like a sheathed sword. 

The aura restraining techniques and also those to hide their attractive nature might have a large impact but that chill of the soul seemed more effective. It carried a deep message, “ Move on my person and die” Both had yet to realize it but in the future, it could prove more effective against others. 

The moment they managed to deal with everything the chaotic ice lotus got given its room and the vitality herb occupied a corner in that room. The plant seemed tenacious and to improve its potential such an environment could be more suitable. Once arranged some other extremely hot plants were also placed in the same room to create an environment of balance. 

Luo Ping needed to create some pills to raise their blood levels and the materials he had collected from the forbidden regions offered enough opportunities for improving alchemy levels and refining the higher quality pills. He then dedicated most of the time refining pills and half a year after crazy leveling up had a collection of pills that could generate enormous experience points but stored them and only took out the most important pills.

Using them Yao managed to reach the ninth level and Luo Ping did the same for all bloodlines before using the remaining experience points and selling some to level them to level 10. The most important thing is that now they had an entire realm difference in blood with others. Their current advantage implied regardless of the realm, once blood energy was used on those sharing the same blood they had to humble themselves and it could even kill if they wanted to.
