My aunt continued her story even though it was clearly very difficult for her.
“Your mother found your Uncle Fenix near the entrance to Moonstone Castle. She was a rogue, so she managed to get past the other rogues without causing suspicion. Fenix was unconscious. She pulled him into a side street and into the dense woodland beyond without being seen. Eventually, he awoke and told her there was no one left. Fenix told your mother that he was on his way back to the cottage, on Alpha Kash’s orders. Apparently, it was the first and only time Kash had used his alpha voice to command his Beta to do as he was told, so Fenix had no choice but to obey. No one in the pack other than the alpha's fated Luna, can defy the Alpha voice and the commands they make. Sadly, Luna’s didn’t possess
