I'M DYING

Dinner was frustrating, we had to wait for the queen to start eating before we ate and we stopped when she stopped. I rolled my eyes at the formal setting, helllooo I have a baby growing in my stomach I need food I mean real food, not small food, I mean beef, chicken, mash potatoes not soup and bread and little food not large enough to feed a five year old.
"Your highness, your friends are waiting for you at the garden." Finally they were here. I ran from my room with the speed of light. I saw Amber first and jumped into her arms.
"Group hug" shouted Alice and we all hugged each other. Tears were already flowing freely from my eyes again; I missed them even if it was two days ago I last saw them.
" I have missed you girls so much" I shouted.
" We did too". Amber shouted. Andris was keeping her distance. She hasn't said a word. She was looking different; there was something strange that I just couldn’t put my finger on it.
" Are you okay?" I asked her.
She was about to answer me when my lady in waiting came in. " Your highness, lunch has been served in the garden
" oooohhhh, I could hear the girls at the background. I placed my hand on my waist.
" Anna I told you to call me by my name "I told her in a voice used to talk to kids, she bowed her head.
" I’m sorry your highness, but the queen will have my head if I should do that."
I rolled my eyes and started walking towards the garden. Andris looked angry. She had been muttering under her breath since I talked to her I stopped in my tracks and looked at her.
" What's the issue Andris" I asked her, I was worried this wasn’t like her
" Nothing" she snapped at me. Amber and Alice were watching us.
" Andris please you can tell me anything". I pressed, seeing her this way is killing me. She has always been a sweet girl, she was four years younger than me but I felt she was the sister I never had.
" You are my problem, you have everything, everything in life. A prince charming, a daughter and family, you going to be queen. Live a long life and all you do is nag about it, I don't want to marry Zack, I don't want to have this baby. Do you know how many people will want this baby, would want what you have. You have love, life, happiness, kids, family and all you do about it is nag, you don't even know where your daughter is and you are parading, your highness." I opened my mouth to say something but close it back. I could see Alice and Amber mirroring my action. It hurts so much that it was coming from Andris. I started crying this pregnancy was really telling on me.
"All you do is cry, cry, cry. You just cry a lot because you are pregnant, I’m dying and I haven't even shed a single tear" I snapped my head.
"You are dying?" We all asked at the same time. She sighed and the first tear dropped from her eye. She broke down into tears and we gathered around her hugging her.
"I’m so sorry Amanda, I’m so sorry" she cried on my shoulder causing my own water works to flow. I stroked her hair.
" I’m ok, it's ok" she said as she pushed me away.
"What wrong?" I asked her.
" I have blood cancer and I have two months left to live". It seems once the water work start it doesn’t stop we were all crying. Snapping up Andris cleaned her eyes.
" Girls we have a wedding to plan, the rest two months of my life I’m not going to waste it here crying so come on bitches lets see what this palace has to offer."
We all laughed, there's the Andris we know.
