THE PHONE CALL

Having lunch with the girls was so much fun, since it took my mind from a certain person. We were about going shopping when my phone rang. " Hello" I answered laughing at a joke Alice was talking about and then I paled.
" I will be there as soon as possible." tears were already streaming from eyes, I should have trusted my guts, I shouldn't have come to London. The girls noticed the sudden change on my face and they understood what happened.
" Am sorry girls I really have to go" Amber came hugging me
" We are coming with you and besides London's no fun without you." She told me giving me a small smile. I’m so lucky having them as my friends. We hailed a taxi and hurried back to our hotel room. We started packing immediately. I thought about what my friends were doing for me I’m so lucky to have them. I picked the first outfit in my suitcase and changed.
Alice had booked tickets for us to head back to the States as soon as we got to the hotel room. Those 12hours were the longest of my life. As soon as the seatbelt light went off after we landed I took off my seat belt. I ran out of the plane. We collected our luggage, hailed a taxi and went straight to New York City hospital.
I removed my cell phone from airplane mode and I got fifty new voicemail from my mum. I got scared. We got off the taxi and ran to the reception.
" Hi I’m looking for Jane Stewart room" I told the nurse.
" Give me a second please" she typed away on her computer.
" 4th floor on intensive care unit, 2nd door to your right" s**t intensive care unit. I ran out of the nurse with a thank you I’m not even sure I said it out loud. I ran to the elevator and pressed the 4th floor button, the elevator wasn’t moving fast enough, as soon as the door opened I ran out. I saw my mum and ran to her hugging her and crying in her shoulder.
" How is she?" I asked sniffing.
" She going to be okay" she tried reassuring me, but it did nothing to ease my fear. Just then I saw the doctor walk out of her room.
" Miss Stewart?" I walked forward,
" your daughter is going to be alright but she need to stay away from cold, don't think she can survive another one of this seizure.”
My heart skipped a beat. " Thank you doctor, can I see her now?" I asked
"yes don’t stay too long in there thou, she needs as much rest as possible" with that he walked away. I entered the room and saw my beautiful daughter hooked to machines. I broke down and cried, I don't know what I will do if I lost her.
I heard the door open, I looked up and saw my friends, and they all walked in and hugged me I cried in their shoulders. Alice yawned and I knew they were tired so I sent them home.
I stayed in the hospital for 5more days before she was free to come home. I was weak and ensured that nothing cold comes in contact with her.

" Her flight just landed in the States" the voice from the phone told me, I smiled
" Good make sure you watch her and do not let the royal guards see you, we need to know why Zack is obsessed with my girl".
