" What is it?", I asked my secretary as she stood in front of me with an envelope in her hands. Then she slid the envelope on my desk. I picked it up and looked at it.
" Later of resignation?", I asked as I stared at her. " Yes sir. I'm sorry I didn't give you any prior notice. Something urgent came up and I need to travel to visit my parents at the countryside ", she said. I looked at her and sighed.
" Fine, you may leave", I said as I continued my paperwork. " Thanks a lot for everything", she said with a slight bow before walking out of my office.
" The nerve of some people", I muttered to myself as I continued sorting out some files. Then I picked up my phone and dialed the CHRO.
" Good morning sir", he said as he picked the call, " how may I be of help?"
