5. Escape

As soon as I got up I heard a knock at the door. I went to open it, it was none other than, the owner of the apartment. He said something, to which I was unable to react. I closed the door, and went near Liam, and tried to wake him up. I was trying alot but he was still sleeping. I went to the washroom, took the bucket filled with water, and threw it, on his face. He quickly got up, he looked at me.
"What was this??" He asked
"We don't have time, now listen to me carefully" I was serious.
"Yeah, tell!!"
"Yesterday, we saw news where, the people over here, got to know about us. Right?? So, today when I heard the knock at the door and went to open, I saw the owner of this apartment standing there, I asked him, what happened. He then said that the police had got to know that we live here, and now he wants us to leave this house, immediately"
"What?? Where will we go then??"
"I asked him the same question, but he said that he don't know, but we have to leave this apartment"
"Okay, so I have an amazing place where we can leave. I am here since past many years. I know a place. But, before that show your TUMAN"
"TUMAN?? Why??"
"Just show!!"
I showed him, my TUMAN.
"Did, Dr. Woolsmethe said you that it contains HIDME??"
"Yeah, he said."
"Okay!! So, now let's use HIDME, then nobody could recognise us. Then, we will be able to escape from this place. Okay??" He said with excitement.
"Okay, but where will we go??"
"Why do you answer so much?? Just believe me!! How could I even believe you??"
"Ms. Christian, if your questions are over, then can we move forward?? We don't have much time in gossiping!!"
"Ya, I think we should. Otherwise, the cops will come, and we will be behind the bars"
By saying this, we packed our stuffs, used the HIDME button, through which we are hidden in front of the whole world.
After, this we stepped out of the apartment. As soon I stepped out. I saw a huge no. Of people along with police.i have never seen a huge no. Of crowd. The media was also present there.
Somehow, they managed to escape from there. They all came out. Liam, held my hands tightly and took me near a truck. I was surprised. I asked him, what's the matter? He didn't reply and kept on walking. We reached near the truck. Before, the truck could start, we entered and sat there.
I was continuesly asking him, that where we are going, but he was ignoring me. I became angry, then I started talking rudely to him "Excuse me, Mr. Kidnapper, where are you taking away, from my father? Just FYI, I have beaten many monsters like you. If I want then I can also beat you. Don't try to anger me. I am not like other girls, who will forgive monsters like you. I swear I'll kill you, if you will not let me know where we are going!!" I said rudely.
"Umm... Ms. Christian, I am not scared of you, I am more stronger than you, and ya, I am not k********g you, or trying to take you away from your dad, even I also want to go back to Vanrish. I am helping you to find your father, and I am taking you to safe place!! You should be thankful to me, instead of talking rudely with me!!" He said.
"But, where are we going?? Atleast answer me!!"
"You have to wait for it. I am not going to answer, when we will reach there, I will tell you everything!! Okay??"
"Okay, but are you sure, this filthy truck will take us to that so called safe place??" I asked with one eye raised.
"Just FYI, I am staying here for many years, I know everything!! You don't need to be worried!! Got it??"
"Hmm"
After a journey of 2 hrs, we finally reached the place. It was a farm area, it was evening now, the sunset of that area was just awesome. I wanted to click picture of that, but unfortunately I can't. I didn't wanted to leave that place, we were still invisible. I love village area a lot, I wasn't even moving from that place. Suddenly, Liam caught my hand and took me to that cottage.
I thought that it will be very filthy, but it was beautifully designed. There was 2 rooms. Thank god!! I will not be sleeping with him anymore. I switched off the HIDME, and went to my to to change. I settled my belongings in my room, and then went out to have some food, as I am starving since morning.
I prepared coffee for myself and then went out, to have some fresh air. Liam was also present there. He was busy in his thoughts. I shook my hand in front of his face, in order to wake him up, from his dream land. I then offered him a coffee.
"What were you thinking??" I asked.
"Do you know everything about TUMAN??"
"Ofcourse!!"
"Do you know that this TUMAN, can give you anything you want!"
"Ofcourse I know! But why are you asking??"
"Do you know that once I place my feet on Vanrish, then I will die."
"What? But why?"
"I knew that, you don't know about it! Okay, so let me explain, actually when a vuram, enters Earth with the help of TUMAN, then his/her age will always remain same. But, the moment they enter their own planet, then their age will not be same. For example, if a 39 yr old vuram is living here for 10 yrs, then the moment he will land on vuram his age will be 49 yrs. Got it?" He explained.
"Oo, but will explain me that how you got to know?? Like you are living here since a long time. How did you know??"
"My child, I told you that you we can get to know about everything through the help of TUMAN. So, through this I got to know about everything happening there. And you must be thinking that, how I got TUMAN? Right? So, let me tell you that, it is available in Earth also. But, it is for human only. One day, Evan and his boss, came near me, and said that, they will bring my TUMAN, but for that I need to work with them. Soz inorder to take TUMAN, I started collecting drugs for him. Through this TUMAN, I got to know that you are coming here!"
"So, can we find my dad through this??" I asked excitedly.
"Sorry dear, but we can only get to know that what's happening in your own planet."
"Oh! But can you tell how old you are??"
"When I met Evan, I was 80 yrs old. It's been 20 yrs since I am working with him. I think I am 100 now."
"So, that's why you will die, when you will reach vuram. Ryt??"
"Yes dear"
I didn't said anything and kept on drinking my coffee.
"Hmm... So, tomorrow, we will go to for farming." He said.
"Why?"
"Because, if you want to live here then you have to do farming also"
I nodded, I was about to go suddenly, I went back to him.
"Can we see what's happening in Vanrish??" I asked.
"Ofcourse, you just, have you enter their name, and you will get to know what's happening there."
I explained him about Dr. Woolsmethe. He then said that we need to check what's happening. I then entered his name, and found out that he is in jail. Wtf? What is he doing in jail? What he did? Then I saw a man coming towards him. He was none other than the police inspector. He asked him "Why did you gave TUMAN to that girl?" He asked.
I then heard the whole conversation, then I came to know that it's all because of me. I sat in a corner and started crying. Liam came near me, held my hand and tried to console me.
After that, he told me to get up early next morning, and after that we both went to have dinner and slept.
But, I couldn't sleep because of how events took place today.
